After consecutive years of spending 2 week vacatiions in this terrific house, we can assure any prospective renters that this is the perfect place for a large family gathering. We have hosted our 3 adult children and their families for varying periods during those stays. The first year included the obligatory trips with the grandkids to the zoo, train museum, spring training games,etc. This past year it was difficult to take the 7 grandkids away from the pool, putting green, hot tub and the theater. What a great way for the cousins to spend time with each other and a great method to eventually get the kids to bed! Plenty of time in the pool , a cookout dinner, s'mores by the firepit and then play one of their favorite DVDs and you have a recipe that assures that all will fall asleep before the end of the movie allowing ample time for the adults to enjoy drink and conversation under the clear star-lit Arizona sky!
The owners, Sal and Anna, are a nice, friendly couple that are easy to talk to and were there to greet us on our first trip and were always available to answer our questions(especially about the audio-video equipment) and address any concern that we may have had.
The home is in a safe, quiet neighborhood with several park areas that have playground equipment and play areas for sports including basketball and sand volleyball as well as picnic areas. The home is centrally located within a few blocks from a super market, drug stores, Starbucks,restaurants, etc. with easy access to the major streets and highways putting you just 5 mins from the Kierland/Scottsdale Rd area.
The best endorsement that we can give is what my wife and I said to each other after this recent stay: "This place is starting to feel like our "home" away from home!!"
