Maggies Place is a gracious home located in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from the heart of downtown Ashland. With three bedrooms it can accommodate up to five or six persons comfortably.
The upper floor has an open area plan with living and dining area and adjoining full kitchen; a guest lavatory; and the master suite with king size bed, full bath, and private deck overlooking a garden area.
The lower floor has two bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with a couch that can be made into a bed, and a full bath.
The spacious deck off the living room provides a quiet space for the morning’s first cup of coffee or pre-dinner libations while enjoying the magnificent views Grizzly Peak and the mountains of the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument. The rear deck, off the master bedroom, provides a quiet, more contemplative space. It has an awning which can be electronically extended or retracted.
Many of the furnishings in the home are antiques that have been in the owner’s family for years.
The home is best suited for adults and respectful older children. It is a smoke-free, pet- free, and street shoe-free property.

This home is within walking distance of the world class Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters, and two other regional theaters. It is a short drive to the Britt Festival and historic Jacksonville, and close enough for day trips to Crater Lake National Park, white water trips down the Rogue and Klamath Rivers.

This home is 'Maggie's Place.' Maggie is a long time resident of Southern Oregon's Applegate Valley. She is an avid outdoors woman, traveler, and long time volunteer at Wildlife Images, a wildlife rehabilitation center. She's been on the board of Four Corners School of Outdoor Education in S.E. Utah since 1992.
Maggie purchased this property as a future 'in town' retirement home, and uses this as her home base for winter sports in the Ashland area. She has furnished the home with many of her mother's lovely family antiques.
