HISTORIC DOWNTOWN UNIVERSITY NEIGHBORHOOD

The Sherrick Cheever house is a mid century modern triplex built in 1950. Located six blocks from Montana state university and eleven blocks from downtown Bozeman on historic Willson Avenue. It's location is ideal to experience all that Bozeman has to offer.

The Sherrick Cheever house got its name from Hurlburt Cheever who was the head of the School of Architecture, 1945 to 1961 at Montana State University. In 1950 he designed our mid century modern triplex for Anna Pearl Sherrick who founded the Montana State University College of Nursing in 1937 and served as its first director. Both have halls on the university campus named after them.

We long term rent two units and short term rent the best unit. This 1200 square foot unit has beautiful hardwood floors throughout and an entire wall with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the private fenced backyard with a garden and mature landscaping. The master bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with exceptional linens; a painted white wood floor gives this room a welcoming feeling, large windows are south facing to bring in the natural light. A flat screen tv with digital cable is also in the master. This bedroom sits across the hall from the bathroom. The bathroom has the original cabinets and built-ins that give this unit its 50’s charm. The second bedroom has a cozy double bed with exceptional linens and a book shelf with many wonderful novels. Sit by the wood fire on the large sheep skin rug as you plan your next Bozeman adventure. The spacious living room is furnished with relaxing couches, a large flat screen TV with DVD player and digital cable with a DVR box. The dining room is off the Kitchen and living room. The well equipped kitchen has a nicely stocked pantry and everything you need for a gourmet meal. The unit also has WiFi fir the use of our guests.
