Hacienda del Mar #1 is a comfy townhouse located just a short walking distance to the beach. This is the perfect vacation home for your entire family to enjoy! It is half block from Blackbeards restaurant, two blocks from the post office and three blocks from the movie theater and a new public boat ramp within a mile from the property. The townhouse showcases hi-speed wireless internet, three (3) flat screen LCD TVs, leather sectional sofas/recliner, ceramic tile counter tops, washer/dryer, central air .

Spend the day relaxing at the beach, and the afternoons either at the semiprivate swimming pool or on one of the decks/balcony overlooking the street or the pool.

The Patio also features a BBQ grill and a bar counter top where to enjoy a cold refreshment by the pool.

It's walking distance to the beach, which my wife and I enjoy it very much. It is also very close to some good restaurants such as PadreRitaVille and Blackbeards and to the local supermarket, the Blue Marlin.

Exceeds expectations!!

Condo was great and is beautifully decorated. It was very close to the beach and within walking distance to other must visits on the island. The outside shower was used quite often to get the sand off of us. It was nice to wash and dry our clothes and towels. It was nice to step out onto the numerous balconies. And jumping in the pool in the evening while the food was on the grill was a real winner with the family. Will be coming back for sure!

AMAZING SPACIOUS RENTAL! A+++

The pictures in this rental do not do it justice. It was a gorgeous townhouse! Very comfortable very spacious, there are 3 balconies! the one in the front is huge and the one in the back leads directly to the pool, and the pool area has a bbq pit a bar! IT IS THE PERFECT place to getaway with friends and family.

I would recommend this place to everyone, not to mention dealing with the owner was a TRUE DELIGHT!! and we got our deposit back VERY QUICK!

AMAZING STAY

The condo was amazing and bigger than we expected. We loved the enclosed pool area and especially the grill. We made dinner every night! The master bedroom was spacious and the jacuzzi was an awesome bonus! We were very relaxed and nothing beats comfort. There was also a storm that came in on Friday night and all electricity went out, but even without light, we still had a great time. I was happy a washer and dryer were included! Also, we walked right on over to the beach without a problem. One of our major appreciations is that pets are allowed! We love our dog and we take her with us whenever we go on vacation and Roberto had no problem with her. Also, necessities (t.p., paper towels, towels, detergent, cooking utensils, etc...) were included when we arrived, but we do recommend to bring extra if you are staying more than just 3 days. Also bring your own beach towels! Anyway, we really felt like we were at home here. Honestly, we didn't want to leave. We are definitely going to be staying here more often.

great vacation

The place was beautiful, with lots of light and plenty of space. It was perfectly clean. It was very close to the beach. Maybe a 3 minute walk. We loved having the pool in the backyard. We had it to ourselves for almost the entire stay.

Places on the island I would recommend:
dolphin cruise or parasailing with Breakaway Cruises
Dirty Al's (Seafood)
Yummies Bistro (breakfast)
Cafe Kranzler (nice place)
Manuels in Port Isabelle (be prepared to wait)

The owner was helpful and responsive when we called.

A couple of suggestions I would make to the owner:

Advertising the place as having 2 jacuzzis 1 inside and 1 out I felt was a little dishonest. The one outside isn't heated. It only bubbles. Actually when we were there it looked as though it was filled with some kind of cleaner so when you turned the bubbles on it made massive amounts of foam. We didn't use it at all.

I would consider replacing the current grill with something a little nicer. The grill sits directly on top of the coals with almost no space in between. You can get a serviceable smoker for $150 or even just a standard Weber grill for less than $100.

Most of the VRBO places we have stayed have been a little better stocked in the kitchen. There was pretty much everything you could want as far as dishes, glasses, and cookware. However, I would have appreciated some spices and dried herbs to work with in the pantry. All I found was salt, pepper, and cooking oil. A small selection including oregano, basil, cajun seasoning, and old bay would really improve this kitchen.

To anybody reading this review, my issues with the place were very small. It was beautiful, we made some fantastic dinners, and it was a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon.

Dealing with the owner (Roberto) was a pleasure. I have stayed in condos that were managed by property management companies that you could not contact after hours.
The description and photos of the condo are right on. Very clean, from the moment you open the front door, the fresh clean smell. The property is well maintained. The AC did not work when we arrived. Text Roberto and less then 5 min Roberto called and walked us through setting the thermostat. Operational error.
Really enjoyed our stay and will return next year.

For you Jeepers the garage is great. You have a place to remove you top, doors and still get your Jeep in the garage. OIIIIO

Great Family/ dog friendly place!

My Family and another Family with three small girls stayed here for our 4 day weekend. It was in a great location. It's very clean and they have almost everything that you need. We loved having the BBQ next to the pool. This kids were able to still swim while we got dinner ready. only complaint, alot of stairs!
