The owners are Gail & Steve Bishop. We have lived in Beaufort for 17 years. We operate a sailing charter business called Lookout Cruises located on the Beaufort docks. We have 3 daily sailing excursions to choose from, AM Dolphin Watch, Cape Lookout Cruise and Sunset Cruise. Please join us for a wonderful vacation memory while you are here.
We had a long term renter in the carriage house who eventually purchased a home in Beaufort. We decided to completely remodel the historic structure so that we could have additional space for our children when they visit and rent the remaining weeks to couples in the hopes they will enjoy all that Beaufort has to offer.
We tell our friends who visit that once you arrive in Beaufort and park your car, you will not need it for a week. There are 16 fantastic restaurants within 2 blocks and lots of locally owned shops within a few minutes walk. The NC Maritime Museum with Blackbeard's Queen Anne's Revenge exhibit is around the corner. Other attractions include the Beaufort Historic Grounds, The Old Burying Grounds, historic homes tours and plenty of water activities.
