Ixtapa Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 1 Bedroom + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-4)
New in 2011. One bedroom with a DEN/TV room (for EXTRA SLEEPING SPACE when needed) merges with livingroom. 42 inch TV with CABLE and 4 MOVIE CHANNEL PACKAGE. Highspeed internet with WIFI. Balcony with furniture.
Fourteen feet of large SLIDING GLASS PANEL WALL creates a mural of ocean and islands with views from the livingroom, den and kitchen. Cool breezes are allowed through the space as 9 feet of the glass panel wall opens to provide a lanai-like feeling. The open panels and balcony are USABLE AND COOL ALL MORNING in the North tower (unlike south facing towers) Being on the 10th floor, most ground level noises are not heard and only the gentle rhythms of the waves accompany your morning coffee and evening glass of wine.
Evenings on the North tower are kicked off with views of the often SPECTACULAR SUNSETS. Winter skies are generally clear and at night ,with even a small amount of moonlight, the waves and the islands remain your companions for the evening.

Guestbook comments from the owner
First of all, we were very pleased and happy with your rental unit. The view and everything in your condo was perfect. We really enjoyed the pools and having coffee on the deck in the mornings!! Your condo is very beautifully decorated and well supplied with all the needs of the stay. The internet was so nice to have also. Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to stay in your condo. At this time we would like to return to Ixtapa and Bay View Grand Marina next year. We really appreciated the stay in the condo and the vacation itself.
We are a midwestern couple who have spent at least a couple of weeks each winter heading south to find refuge from the cold winters. Our first visit to Ixtapa was 29 years ago. Since then we have traveled to the caribbean to Cancun/Mayan Riviera, Bahamas, and Belize; Costa Rica and even tried Puerta Vallarta. Then in 2004 we returned to Ixtapa and found the friendly people and truely warm weather that we had remembered from long ago. It seems that we had found the 'right place' on our first try and didn't know it. We think that Ixtapa really has what we are looking for: Truely warm weather in January and February (80's) and much less cloudy, breezy Cancun-like weather.
When we retire we will likely make Ixtapa our winter home for much of the winter.
Bay View Grand-Marina is on of the newest condominium complexes in the Ixtapa area. It is located on the palm shaded Ixtapa Boulevard with good walking sidewalks to the marina and to Ixtapa Plaza. Getting around with the taxi and bus system is easy and inexpensive. The locals are very tolerant of my rudimentary Spanish and if approached politely are happy to try to help you through the language barrier (many speak some english.)
