Tola House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8)
Hacienda Colorado is located on Playa Colorado - directly in front of the surf break, Colorados- sometimes referred to as the Nicaraguan Pipeline. You can sit in the gorgeous beachfront pool or under one of the covered patios- either upstairs or downstairs - and watch extreme surfing from morning until night. Or take a walk along the 1 1/2 mile white sand beach which has 2 additional surf breaks: Panga Drops and Los Perros Point. There are also a couple of beaches in the area where the waves break more gently for beginner or intermediate surfers. There is plenty of territory for boogie boarders and swimmers. Boat trips are easily accessible for trips along the Nicaraguan coast to other popular breaks. We are also only about 40 yards from the beachfront community pool, bar and restaurant (open for all 3 meals).
The house itself has a master suite with a king and twin bed and 2 ocean view guest suites, each with a queen and twin bed in them. The house is ideal for 1-2 famlies, 3 couples or 6 surfers. There is an interior courtyard and garden where you can relax and enjoy the fountain - the perfect place for relaxing with a book in the afternoon. The house is designed for outside living and natural ventilation - although each bedroom does have AC. The kitchen is world class and fully equipped and the house is cared for daily. There is also a full time night guard for added comfort.
The development has a beautiful 9 hole Golf Course where you can golf at reduced fees, it also provides a beautiful area for morning walks. For someone wanting a more strenuous hike, just walk out the door and take any of the trails over the coastal hills. You can even walk a mile to the little fishing village of Gigante for a great lunch. We have onsite rental managers that are always around to assist you in any way needed. They can set you up with airport transportation, taxis, surf trips, massage, fishing, horseback riding, acupuncture, yoga, kayaking and day trips to Aqua as well as give you great recommendations for restaurants and local hikes.

We retired to Nicaragua in 2007. We enjoy relaxing on the beach, swimming, boogie boarding, and watching the surf. We have a lot of company when we're here and our house is set up for entertaining. We also enjoy walking the beach, hiking, adventures on the rocks, and golfing on a mostly empty but beautiful course - no worry about tee times here.
We like the remote location at Iguana. The beach is pristine and there is nothing touristic about this experience.
Most importantly, we are on the break. Because it is a beach break (sometimes known as the Nicaraguan Pipeline) we can watch extreme surfing while sitting our our patio. It is also a popular spot for cocktail hour at sunset.
