This beautiful property is an original Alexander mid-century home, built in 1960 and has been professionally restored. Located on a quiet street in the exclusive Vista Las Palmas neighborhood, this getaway offers breath taking views of Mtn San Jacinto.

This beautifully appointed home offers two bedrooms/two baths and has been professionally restored. Located on a quiet street in the exclusive Vista Las Palmas neighborhood, "Sweet Asian Influence" is an original Alexander mid-century home, built in 1960 with breath taking west-facing views of the San Jacinto Mountains. Its interior design was inspired during a painstaking year-long restoration, respectful of the classic mid-century post-and-beam architectural value. The designer noticed original glass shoji screens and with the owners, native Angelinos, drew inspiration from them in creating for the home a purified Zen-like, Asian decor.Guests will enjoy living outside as much as inside. Lush shrubbery and palms surround the rear yard and give it total privacy. On the south side are a pool and outdoor kitchen, complete with gas BBQ and Spectacular Mtn Views! On the north side is found a great fountain along with the spa.Come, Relax! Exhale! All of our properties have Free WIFI internet access.

We spent 8 nights at this property, which included my parents, my husband and me. The home is beautiful, quiet, clean, well maintained and spacious enough to allow everyone privacy without being unnecessarily large. The outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxation and the interior spaces perfect for curling up with a book or to watch some TV. The kitchen is very well equipped and a pleasure to cook in. The neighborhood of Vista Las Palmas is fantastic with classic mid-century homes, some updated, as well as some newer constructions, and tucked back against the mountain giving it this quiet, off-the-beaten-path feeling, while still being just a 10-15 minute walk to busy Palm Canyon Drive, with plenty of shopping and dining options. This week-long getaway may have actually convinced my parents to retire to Palm Springs! If heading back for a short trip, we would ABSOLUTELY rent this property again. Dennis and his crew at Grau Home Management were professional, helpful and checked in with us during the stay to make sure that all was well. Having rented from other smaller property management companies in the past and having been extremely dissatisfied with their accessibility and willingness to help, I was so pleasantly surprised by this fantastic experience and now have set a very high standard for future rentals! Thank you to Dennis and all for a wonderful vacation!

This property was a comfortable well-located spot for activities such as lounging by the pool or walking in to Palm Canyon Drive to take in the dining and shopping options. Easy living in the (mostly) sunshine! Highly recommended.
