Dewey Beach House Rental Photos and Description
House, 5 Bedrooms 2.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 11)
This is a wonderful beach block cottage so close to the beach it is easy to slip back mid day to get a drink for the beach! Take your coffee down in the morning and watch the porpoise in the ocean. Take the kids down after dinner to fly a kite. The beach is so close that you can frequent it easily and zip back to the cottage for a snack.
This is our family’s beach house & we rent out to a few families throughout the summer (when we do not use it). It is perfect for a large family, 2 families or a family traveling with extended family. The house sleeps 11. The owner lives in Rehoboth Beach & the house is well-maintained. We rent to mature, responsible adults only!! No party rentals!
Beat the traffic!!! The rental is available weekly (7 nights), Sunday-Sunday. Sat to Sat rentals mean you are stuck in traffic coming and going as almost all rentals in this area start and end on Sat.
The house has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths plus an enclosed outside shower. There is parking for 4 vehicles. If you have smaller vehicles, you may be able to fit an additional fifth car in the garage and a sixth car in the back of the house. When in doubt, parking permits can be purchased from the Town Hall. There is a Jolly Trolly stop at the end of the street that will take you right to Rehoboth.
Calendar is kept up-to-date; can check availability on VBRO.

About Marcy Kmetz
We have many years of Dewey Beach Memories. Dave Vaughn (now in his late 70's) went to Dewey Beach as a teenager. He married Margo Vaughn in 1956; Margo had been to Dewey Beach every summer since she was a baby. Dave and Margo took their 7 kids to Dewey Beach every summer until they left the house. Dave and Margo retired to Rehoboth Beach in the 1990's but kept the beach house for their kids to use. Here is a picture of Dave & Margo, their 7 kids and their 17 grandchildren.
Marcy Kmetz purchased this house in 1965
Why Marcy Kmetz chose Dewey Beach
Because Dewey Beach doesn't have high-rises, the beaches are not as crowded as neighboring beaches. There are great activities and restaurants in walking distance. Dewey Beach offers family activities during the week such as bonfires and movies on the beach.
What makes this house unique
The enclosed outside shower is a great treat! Walkable to many activities: restaurants, convenience stores, Dewey Beach bonfire, Dewey Beach movie on the beach, trolly stop to Rehoboth, etc.
