Cozy Log Home in the Woods
This unique, architect-designed log home was created with Engelmann Spruce from the 1988 Yellowstone fire. You’ll enjoy in-floor heating in the kitchen and master bath, Direct TV and wireless Internet access, and a steam shower in the master bath. Six or seven people can sleep comfortably in the three-bedroom, three and a half-bath accommodation. Master bedroom and one guest room have queen-size beds; second guest room has a double bed and a set of twin-size bunks. You’ll be a half hour drive from Jackson Hole ski area, close enough to have first tracks in the powder, but far enough to escape the bustle. The Granite Canyon entrance station to Teton National Park is a half-hour drive, Yellowstone is about an hour’s drive. Fly fishing access in Fish Creek is within walking distance. Moose, elk, and deer graze outside the dining room windows; Great Grey owls hunt in the grass.

Rob and I live in Honolulu most of the year, but we escape to our log home in the woods as often as we can. I write crime fiction novels and Rob is an orthopedic surgeon and we have two sons.
We built this house because of the unparalleled access to two outstanding National parks (Teton and Yellowstone) and all the activities available in both winter and summer. Summers are paradise.
