This log cabin was completed July 1, 2010 and is part of the Holiday Resort on Gull Lake Narrows. It is a small, family owned resort consisting of 4 cabins including the new log cabin and a main house on 200 feet of lakeshore. As a part of the resort there is plenty of dock space for your boat, a swimming beach, water trampoline, paddle boat, kayaks, and a 14' aluminum row boat, you can put up to a 15hp motor on, available for your use.

Come and enjoy beautiful Gull Lake any time of the year. Great championship golf and fine dining located nearby. The amenities of this cabin and property location will make for a memorable vacation in the Brainerd Lakes area.

About The Owner

We have owned this property for 32 years. After raising 2 kids that have moved on with all the great memories of the lake we decided to replace one of the existing cabins with this new log cabin.

The Owner purchased this cabin in 1981
Why The Owner chose Pequot Lakes

It is only 2 hours from the west side of the cities and my wife and I fell in love with the waterskiing, boating and snowmobiling around the Gull Lake area.

What makes this cabin unique

The resort is at the north side of Gull Lake near Zorbaz and Bar Harbor. Just a mile down the road is Fritz Loven Park with hiking trails and a cute trout stream. Nisswa shopping and the Paul Bunyon Trail are only 6 miles away. There is easy access to the Lake and sometimes it's fun to just sit on the dock, fish for Sunnys and watch the boats go by.

everything is almost perfect: nice and helpful cabin owner, clean and spacious kitchen and living area, lots of storage spaces, good catches right from the deck. the owner thoughtfully warned us of the only bathroom in the cabin, and we somehow managed to make it work for eight of us. if you are big on cooking like us, bring more of your own pots, pans, plates, bowls and knives. the cabin does provide a very nice set of BBQ tool.

Adult Winter Weekend Birthday Getaway

We just returned from a winter weekend getaway, where we celebrated a birthday with friends for some winter activities, laughs, and relaxation at the cabin. The cabin was AMAZING! Not only is it beautiful and clean, but it was a perfect size! It comfortably housed six adults and one dog for the weekend with more than enough room for sleeping and living.

Thank you very much for offering such a wonderful place for us to create some lasting memories! We can't wait until we can return again!!!

We had a marvelous time! Spent most of our time hunkered around the kitchen island, playing games and reminiscing about those long-ago college days. The cottage was perfect for the four of us!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was even more than we expected. The fall is a wonderful time to visit Gull Lake. Everything was provided for a memorable visit by the owners. The closeness to the lake of the cabin and the array of fall colors provided us with many photo opportunities. The property was well kept and absolutely spotless. The owner was very helpful and friendly. My friend was returning to revisit memories of the area from her childhood and it was my first visit to Minnesota. The owner was more than helpful in providing us with information to try to relocate the area she was looking for. We enjoyed shopping in Nisswa and visiting with the Nisswa Historical Society. Thanks to Bob and Sue for a wonderful stay and for allowing us to share the lovely cabin.

Autumn Weekender

This cabin exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, inside and out, and the owner was a delight to work with, and he gave us the low down on local restaurants and boat rentals. The kitchen and grill were well supplied, so meals were easy when we decided to stay home. The docks were well maintained and accessible, and we had a wonderful view of the opposite shore with the leaf colors in full spectacle! Our favorite part of the cabin was the large front deck with the grill. Another plus was the lovely park just up the road with a great 3 kilometer nature trail and trout stream. The dogs loved that! Thanks, Bob, for a fantastic fall long weekend!
