Dorado's Oceanfront Beach House/Private Beach/Near two Golf courses

This beach house exceeded our expectations. Each sunset and sunrise was priceless. We were able to get away from our daily routine for a wonderful week on the north shore of Puerto Rico. The town of Dorado is very clean and trips to all of our desired destinations were easily accessible (Old San Juan, Bacardi Rum Factory, Arecibo Observatory, Luquillo beach, El Yunque Rain Forrest, Camuy caverns, etc). Dorado also offers numerous restaurants in all price ranges. The appliances & furniture are nicely kept and clean. The place was perfect for our family of four (2 adults & 2 teenagers). We loved the private beach and being able to drive to public beaches all over the north shore of the island. Snorkeling at the private beach was spectacular. The owners were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely return to this beach house and recommend it to our friends.

We found the beach house with fresh flowers, clean, sunny, comfortable and with a spectacular view; nicely kept and good maintenance. The kitchen had all the appliances and everything needed. The owners were very helpful in every way.
The private beach was wonderful for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing.
Dorado is a clean small city, centrally located for island day trips as well for Old San Juan and Condado night life.

My husband and I with our 3 grown children stayed here. We come to Puerto Rico once or twice every year by ourselves. This year we wanted to take our grown children with us. With the economy so bad, they could not help contribute financially. Therefore, I had to find something that was affordable that had 3 bedrroms and at least 2 baths. In my opinion, if you cant stay on the oceanfront, you are missing the whole experince of this beautiful island. After months of looking at rentals, I found this awesome beachhouse right on the oceanfront. It was exactly as the owner described. Its right on the edge of a cliff. with the most beautiful views. You can sometimes feel the ocean spray right from the terrace. Not 20 yards from the front door, there are steps that take you directly to the private cove and a beautiful beach. We spent 3 of our days just staying at the cove. The other days we visited other beaches. Just 10 minutes away is Dorada Beach. This was another one of our favorites. The house was very clean and just as described. Its more of a beachouse because it is older and needs to be updated and needs work, but it was clean and everything worked. If you are picky and spoiled by staying in expensive hotels or resorts, you might not be happy. But you will never be able to stay in an oceanfront home at this price and have this view. Oh yea, the mattresses were very comfortable and the sheets and towels were like new. We did receive our full deposit back after 1 week. We had no surcharges for electricity. When we ran the A/C in the bedrooms, we also kept the doors shut. Downstairs always had a cool breeze from the ocean and plenty of fans. I have already recommended this rental to several of my friends. If we travel with family again, we would definitly stay here.
