There are also great restaurants within walking distance and a Strand that runs north and south for 26 miles along the beach. If you like to be active, you won't need a car!
Our cozy duplex was built in 1932 and remodeled over the past few years but we've managed to keep all the charming elements. There's a luxurious tempurpedic queen mattress in the bedroom with contour neck pillows and a down comforter. French doors in the bedroom lead out to a cozy deck with an outdoor dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to create a fantastic meal. The family room includes a cozy sectional couch, and entertainment center with a 40' flat screen LED HDTV. We've wired the place with free Verizon FIOS high speed cable and wireless internet. The floors are hardwood and mexican tile throughout. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower.
If you need to park a car, there is 1 dedicated parking spot in the driveway. Thanks for previewing our North Manhattan Beach property!
We currently live bi-coastally - spending most of the year in Florida before heading out to our Manhattan Beach bungalow in the summer. We stay in the 2 bedroom unit upstairs and like to share our 1 bedroom unit with other families on vacations, relocating to the area, or on short business contracts. We are excited about sharing our home with you!

Great getaway studio apartment, well maintained and very clean. We loved the access to the washer/dryer and the housekeeping every two weeks. Well stocked kitchen with many pots and pans. Just steps to the beach, we hardly missed the gorgeous sunsets. Neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The Wi-Fi, dvr and TV was very much appreciated. We would highly recommend this location!

This charming little hidden gem is perfectly located one block from the beach and is only about 10 min from LAX. It was exactly as pictured on the website, very clean, quiet, well stocked, and the owner was quickly responsive to a few questions. We never needed heat or air because the temperature was perfect! Loved the hardwood floors and tile and ceiling fans. Having a washer and dryer available was also very convenient. The wifi, dvr and TV also made it easy to stay connected. The location was very walkable to all of MB. Since we stayed for over a month, we joined the Easton Gym, which is only four blocks away. Awesome classes and equipment. We frequented the Fish Bar on Highland, also only a few blocks away. The proximity to the beach made daily walks on the strand and down to the pier a breeze. After discovering a weekly Tuesday Farmers Market, we walked down to 13th St each week, for the freshest CA produce and food stands, then stopped in at Lemonade on Manhattan Beach Blvd, for a fresh lemonade before we walked back to our little place. There is also a Trader Joe's on Rosecrans, about 5 min away. Access to the 405 and 105 is also nearby, which made zipping over to Hollywood quite easy to visit our daughter. We also toured the USS Iowa in Long Beach, drove up to the Simi Valley, checked out great restaurants in nearby Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. Santa Monica and Malibu are just up the PCH. There was so much to do and see, or if we wanted to just relax we just did that too. The only major problem we had was at the very end of our stay, and that was we didn't want to leave!!! We would highly recommend this property.
This studio apartment was perfect for our stay, exactly as advertised, clean and well provisioned. The Tempurpedic mattress was a huge selling point for us, just like home.
Really nice having a washer and dryer at our disposal too.

Just a short walk down the street, to the Strand, and a beautiful beach beyond. Great for whale and dolphin watching, or sitting and watching all the surfers and volleyball players.
The Fishouse restaurant is just a short walk up the street, great atmosphere, and fabulous food, highly recommend a visit, or maybe the Strand restaurant right down on the beach.
As they say, location, location, location, you won't be disappointed !!!
My husband and I searched high and low for a nice place that would accommodate the two of us and our dog for the holiday season. We are happy to report that this rental met our needs beautifully. We walked the beach's boardwalk daily, as the rental is literally up the hill. The kitchen is amply stocked for in-home cooking, and the washer and dryer on the premises was a convenient plus. The web-site pictures are pretty spot on to the accommodations. There is one parking spot associated with this rental; which is a plus (compact vehicle suggested). It was great to have the owner's housekeeper make a visit during our trip. Overall, we were very happy.
We spent a week at the apartment, and very much enjoyed our stay. It is a block away from a gorgeous beach, and the location is easily accessible. We were very rarely in the apartment, as we spent the majority of our time sight-seeing around LA, but it was a cozy and comfortable place to come home to at night, and we often enjoyed sitting on the private patio to relax before bed.
The photographs are very accurate. It was just the right size for our needs, and had everything we needed to get us through the week. Jeanette and her husband were there when we stayed, and were very friendly and helpful.
