Our condo is located at the prestigious Kona Coast Resort in Keauhou, Hawaii, one of the top rated condominium resorts on the Big Island. The Kona Coast Resort is a first class, five-star vacation paradise. The architecture of the buildings, with the white stucco exteriors and orange clay roofs, is reminiscent of a coastal Mediterranean village. Our condo is a well-maintained, spacious, air-conditioned, two bedroom, two bathroom ocean view "end" unit with over 1520 square foot of living space. Being an end unit, it has large screened windows lining the entire living room and dining room areas, which affords even more beautiful Hawaiian views.
In addition, it has a beautiful and expansive private lanai facing the ocean, providing views from the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. What can be better than waking up in the morning to a beautiful ocean view to start the day!
The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with top quality, modern appliances and everything you may need to cook and serve meals. Since we often stay in our condo, we have just about everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Our condo has easy access, with no stairs to climb; it is the same level as the parking lot. It is a secure 2nd floor unit with a private lanai, not accessible from the ground, affording privacy from other units.
It has a very quiet and efficient air conditioning system with separate remotes for each room's comfort. There is an additional fee for the air conditioning, which means if you don't need it, you don't pay for it.
The Resort is surrounded by the 36-hole Kona Country Club golf course. It is located near one of Hawaii's best snorkeling beaches, Kahalu'u Beach Park. Across the street is the Keauhou shopping center, where you'll find a supermarket, movie theater, specialty stores and several good restaurants. Keauhou Bay, a launch site for boat tours, including the popular Fairwinds snorkeling tour, is about half mile to the south.
The resort offers a wide range of full service recreational facilities, including an on-site activities desk (charter fishing, helicopter tours, snorkeling, scuba and sailing tours, just to name a few) as well as on-site activities (children's' activities, aerobics, painting classes, lei making classes). Two eighteen hole golf courses are located adjacent to the Resort.
Because of the wonderfully manicured grounds, condition of the facility, and all its amenities, the Kona Coast Resort is a top vacation spot in paradise.
