Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and marina from our fully furnished 3 bedroom & 3 full bath villa that we have come to know as 'Ocean's Edge'. Our home has one of the few unique locations in Kawama Yacht Club for you to enjoy the panoramic views. Relax and take in the ocean breezes from our upstairs balcony or sunbathe on the over-sized patio below.
After a full day on the water, at the beach, or visiting local shops or attractions, settle back with entertainment from one of many large flat-screen TV's (cable), DVD, satellite radio, play your own music using the i-pod / i-phone docking station, or browse the internet using our WiFi wireless service.
If you are an early riser, enjoy a cup of coffee on the balcony and witness amazing sunrises not seen elsewhere.
The upstairs master bedroom offers a king bed, full closet, and private bath. The second upstairs bedroom is furnished with two twin beds, a closet, and a full hall bath. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, large closet, and a third full bath. Large flat-screen tv's and cable service are provided in each bedroom. The kitchen is a centerpiece of the unit, with beautiful 'black stargate galaxy' granite countertops and full backsplash, GE Profile appliances including refrigerator / ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, cooktop and oven. A coffee maker, cookware, blender, crockpot, dishes, utensils and more are all furnished. A gas grill on the patio is great for the evening bar-b-que, and the dining area has seating for 6, with additional seating at the large kitchen counter.
A full size washer and dryer, hair dryers, iron/ironing board and extra linens (including beach towels) are provided for your convenience. Large paddle fans are located throughout the villa.
Kawama Yacht Club is an active community with friendly people. Play tennis at the lighted tennis courts, lounge at one of the heated pools, take the kids to the playground, visit Kawama Beach, or stroll to the end of the jetty to view terrific sunsets to the west. Outside of our gated community, you'll find many restaurants serving some of the tastiest local dishes (the fish and lobster does not get any fresher than in the keys), local shops, and diving and snorkel charters to take you to the reefs of Pennekamp National Park. Offshore fishing is equal to the best with many charter captains just a quarter mile down the road. If you are bringing your own boat, our marina slip may be available for an additional fee, and can accommodate a boat up to 39 feet in length. You have a direct view of the slip from the villa, and it's located at the end of the middle t-dock for easy docking access. The slip is equipped with 30amp and 110v power, as well as water service.
To fully enjoy your vacation, renting within Kawama is all about location, location, location...., and our 'Ocean's Edge Villa' has that premier location, with a full, unobstructed view of the marina and the Atlantic Ocean. Linda and I purchased this villa after renting it several times ourselves in past years. We love the area which has so many different things to do. It's important to us that you enjoy your vacation in our home, and that you'll have memories to remember well after you leave - just as we did.
