Charming home, excellent location!

Our family rented this charming home for a long weekend. It was perfect for our needs. We have stayed at many places in the area in the past, but this was by far the best. The house was well maintained, quaint, spacious and comfortable. It has a grand front porch.The location was so convenient, everything in town was within walking distance. Cafe Sarah's(across the street) has the best oatmeal raisin cookies and hearty sandwiches. Common Roots is great for breakfast and Black Mountain Lodge is great for dinner. Family members enjoyed the day snowboarding on Gore Mountain. There is also a snow tubing facility availabe for those who do not ski or snowboard. In the spring, summer and fall, whitewater rafting is also just five minutes away from this home. We have gone rafting with the Whitewater Challengers Company many times in the past and found them to be top notch.We also love hiking in the area.Hiking trails are abundant! The owner of the home, provided excellent customer service.He was very accommodating to our needs. He even left a light on for our arrival. It was a pleasure working with him.The entire family so enjoyed the visit, that we want to try and have this home be our North Creek gathering place.
