We welcome you to our beach front home on the Island of Kauai!

Lae Nani is a premier resort located on the east side of Kauai. This location means that you have easy access to both the North Shore (Napali Coast) and South Shore (Poipu, Waimea Canyon and beyond). Close to the resort, there are several grocery stores and shops to provide for your needs and there are several fantastic restaurants within walking distance.

Our top (3rd) floor, two-bedroom newly-renovated condo has all you need to enjoy your time here. When Ric's father purchased the condo, before it was constructed, he was advised by the builder that our unit was the best one of the entire complex due to its proximity to the beach, amazing views, distance from the road and top floor location. Because it is on the top floor, there is no noise from neighbors above. The building is situated in such as way that you will wake to the beautiful morning sun as it lights the Lae Nani gardens and ocean out front. In the afternoon, when the sun heats up, the angle of the building allows for enjoyment of the trade wind breezes as they flow through the screen doors and are stirred by the ceiling fans inside the unit.

Our condo does have amazing views of the beautiful Lae Nani gardens, beaches and surf from two separate lanais (balconies). For a romantic getaway, the view from the master bedroom lanai can't be beat and the lanai in front of the living room has a table large enough to eat dinner by plus two relaxing chaise lounges.

Because we are beach front (not just ocean view) you have an unobstructed 180 degree view of the ocean and the sand is only about 75 feet from the condo. There is a small keiki (children's) pool out front that is protected and perfect for small children who are ready to explore what the ocean has to offer. For adults and older kids we have good snorkeling. There is also a pool for Lae Nani guests that you can relax at and enjoy the sight and sound of the ocean out front. Most days you will look out to see surfers catching a great wave and endangered monk seals often rest on the beach in front.

Our condo is family-friendly, with a portable crib, stroller, booster seat, games and books for children to enjoy. We have wood or tile floors throughout. We listen to the feedback of our guests and are continually striving to improve the comfort of our condo. We provide free wireless internet, Netflix, blue ray player, iPod docking station and a local phone for you to use. There is a television in the master bedroom and the living room.

As you relax listening to the sound of the surf, you can plan your day, knowing you are never far from adventure.

Keywords: Our unit is a 3rd floor walk-up with two lanai's (decks); one off the living room and one off the master bedroom. The ocean is less than 75 feet from the building.

Why Penny chose Wailua

This unit has been in the family since the original construction. My father inspected the property prior to construction and was advised by the developer to purchase our unit as it would have(he felt) the best view and location in the complex.

What makes this condo unique

The East side of Kauai (also known as the Coconut Coast) is unsurpassed in location and access to the rest of the island. The weather here is in between the wet zone(North Shore) and the dry zone (South Shore) We have a number of great restaurants within walking distance.

Couldn't ask for a better condo. Impressive hard wood floors and remodeled baths, spacious unit with working kitchen. Very comfortable beds and quiet complex. Large balconies, excellent views.. Location is great with very beautiful swimmable beach with well-kempt lawn area. Walking distance to Coconut market plaza (Whaler general store, gifts and great grab-a-bite food stands) and restaurants. Safeway and Foodland short drive. Manager of condo very pleasant, helpful and accessible. Thank you for sharing your home! We would love to return.

Tropical Perfection!

Our family had such a relaxing week at Lae Nani...watching the sunrise from the lanai, waking & sleeping to the sounds of the surf, snorkeling in the tide pool just a few steps away from the condo (so many beautiful fish!), swimming in the resort pool, and exploring nearby shops and beaches. The condo was very clean and well-maintained with fantastic amenities. Highly recommended! It was tropical perfection & we can't wait to return.

What can I say? I'm still dreaming of waking up with the sound and view of the beautiful ocean right out in front of the bedroom. It was absolutely wonderful. The condo was beautifully decorated and updated. I loved the wood floors which were actually quiet. The bathrooms were nicely done too.The complimentary gift basket in the kitchen was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. But the location, view, beach and pool were exceptional! What a treat. It is within walking distance of many great places to shop and dine. For typical local hawaiian food, the Ono Mkt was the best. We ate at the Olympic Cafe many times which was very good, Kintaro ,right across the street for excellent Japanese food and of course the Market was close by and the kitchen well equipped to cook in. The Britta water pitcher was a smart amenity which was appreciated so you don't need to buy bottled water.

Spectacular Beach Front - Quiet and Private - AS ADVERTISED!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Spacious, well-appointed and updated, nothing lacking and the property was clean and well-maintained. This condo is truly a taste of heaven. Expansive lanai off the living and dining rooms, a second of the master suite that both sit over looking the surf some 60 feet below. The beach is is swimable with areas safe for small children and one is able to snorkle right at the beach area. Located on the edge of Kapaa, stores including Safeway as well as any type of shopping you desire are very close by. Kapaa is centrally located on the island making it a good place to access the islands attractions from. This unit, #535, is far and away the best unit in the complex which only contains about a total of 85 units. This means the facility is not crowded and the atmosphere is truly quiet and relaxing. Many thanks to the Berry family for sharing their home!
