Bridgeport Pearl is an upscale condominium located in the Pearl District of Portland, Oregon. It sits on the silent street car line allowing you to travel the entire downtown area with ease. We are situated in the middle of dozens of world class restaurants with award winning chefs. Within walking distance are many shops, parks and art museums.
Bridgeport Pearl is not hotel style lodging, it is a quiet home in a secure building. It includes a master bedroom with a king bed, a guest bedroom with queen bed and a queen pull out sofa bed with Tempurpedic topper. We include one assigned parking spot in a gated garage. Most of this building is residential and even though it sits in the middle of a city, it's is extremely quiet and that is one of the things we love most about our home. We have the entire city at our fingertips but when we return home at the end of the day we are welcomed by the warmth and peacefulness that a home should offer and ours does just that.
We take pride in our condominiums cleanliness & make sure our guests feel that when they arrive. Duvet covers on all beds are changed with each guest. We proudly provide L'Occitaine bath & hair products and supply all detergents for your laundry needs.
We offer pre-arrival concierge service and are happy to shop for you for your initial groceries. Planning a stay during the holidays? Just let us know and we are happy to pre-decorate for you and make available personalized stockings, a Christmas tree or Menorah. Just let us know what you need and we are happy to help.
As the mother of a special needs child myself, I have traveled out of state many times for medical care for my son & I understand the importance of making these types of travel times as easy as possible. My husband & I have been in the Northwest since 1991. We have raised our two boys here and find it to be the perfect place to raise a family. Portland is 20 minutes from our current home, the beach 1 1/2 hours away and Mt. Hood just an hour and 15 minutes away.
As our kids get older and closer to college we have thought a lot about where we want to be when they move out and begin their adult lives. Portland is the place. We purchased this condominium knowing we wanted to rent it out but as an extension of our home. A home we plan on living in one day. Until then... we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We chose this home because it is centrally located to everything Portland has to offer. The Bridgeport building itself spoke to us because it is very secure and extremely quiet. Large decks are rare in the area and our unit has one of the largest. We purchased the condo in November of 2010, remodeled & furnished it and are so excited to share it with all of you.
Although we are local we plan on making the move to Portland one day and are excited to eventually call this condominium home.
We have a 50 ' plasma HDTV with Bose/Denon surround sound in the family room and large flat screens in each bedroom. An office armoire is in the family room as well. All national long distance phone calls are included.
Designer & custom furniture fill this home. Although children are welcome we are not 'childproof'. As much as I would like to rent to your family with young children, their safety is my 1st concern so parents, book with caution. We have a balcony 6 stories up and lots of breakables. Please consider that when booking.

Cleaning Fee: $150
For stays < 30 nights, all Oregon vacation rentals are required to charge lodging tax for all fees including rents and cleaning. This does not apply to refundable fees ie; Security Deposit. These are the same fees a hotel charges.
11.5% - City of Portland
1% - State of Oregon
It is the law, I have to charge it.
|Since our opening in Spring '11, I have incurred a $300.00 "Move in" fee for each guest reservation by my building. Moving truck or simple suitcase, they never waive. I have never passed this fee on, I've just quietly paid it. Starting Fall '13, I can no longer cover this & any new reservations that are not at the full rate will be billed for this one time fee. Thank you for understanding.|
