There are many unique benefits to this new three bedroom log chalet. The interior has beautifully constructed log walls, trusses and rafters all leading toward an exceptional view of the lake. The walkout lower level has a knotty pine bar and sunken whirlpool bathtub. View the wildlife from the double deck of this log chalet (our chalet is only 75 feet from waterfront). Geese inhabit the small island just off shore. There are also otter and eagles that have been viewed passing through! There is very little boat traffic as the Pigeon River and the Pigeon Lake meet right here. This home is located on a quiet road. Enjoy peaceful evenings next to the fire-pit by the water in the summer, and also cozy afternoons next to the fire-place inside, in the winter. Firewood is provided for fire-pit. Use the (two man) kayak (provided) to get a closer view of all the nature that surrounds you. No smoking please.
Other nearby attractions and activities include: A newly constructed Fitness Center/gym/pool at the nearby High School in Clintonville (3 miles). Also two casinos, one in Bowler and another in Keshena. Visit the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame (35 miles) or take in the Harley Davidson attractions/restaurant at Docs (20 miles) which is for all ages. Walk over to the Llama farm (1/2 mile) with gift shop.

I enjoy Whitetail bowhunting and gun-hunting every year on our 115 acres just outside the nearby town of Embarrass. I have a lifetime of experience in carpentry and the construction of log homes, this I carry over into my business: Luedtke Log Homes. My wife, my children and my dogs are most important to me. We have 4 labs, white, yellow, chocolate, and black and they do travel with us often. I extremely enjoyed building this log home - with hopes you/yours also enjoy it and choose to stay.
It was a house that I built on a lovely piece of property that I had acquired earlier in my life when I was a Real Estate agent.
The heated flooring both upstairs and downstairs makes a stay in this house as cozy as it gets. The radiant heat clings to the surface areas of everything and the gas fireplace gives it that warming visual appeal we all dream of. The up-beat kitchen adjoining the island into the living area creates a unified space sure to make everyone feel involved. The 6 car garage is wide open and offers indoor parking to the maximum! Finally the sunken whirlpool tub (located in downstairs bathroom)is the perfect touch to this relaxing getaway!

What a beautiful cabin! We loved every minute of our vacation! The kids enjoyed the nightly bonfires while my husband and I were able to unwind and just relax ~ this was a much needed escape from reality and we're very grateful we had this opportunity! Thanks again for the beautiful setting for our family vacation!
Carol and Rick,
What a great place to land after skiing. A beautiful warm log chalet in a wintry setting. What more could one want? Thanks very much. Denny
Thank you for such a wonderful home to spend our family vacation in. We all had a great time and would recommend your home to our friends and family.
We had an excellent time at your chalet. My husband, 4 kids, mother in law and dog just loved it at your place.
The kids loved the fires and night as well as the kayak! We couldn't have asked for better weather this week. We were able to take day trips to the surrounding areas as well as visit the Clintonville outdoor pool. It was great coming "home" to the chalet after being on the go all day.
Thank you so much for opening your home to our family.

Carol and Rick are great! They took the time to get answers or telephone numbers for places we were interested in. Very clean, very relaxing! We had a great time! Thank you!
Rick and Carol,
We had a wonderful time staying in your beautiful log chalet. We found it to be cozy, yet very spacious with it’s two stories and scenic views from the large windows and balcony. It is surrounded by natural beauty including the waterfront and wooded areas. This is a very quiet, serene place to spend time. We had such a nice time sitting by the fireplace, cooking in the large, well supplied kitchen, playing games in the evening, and just enjoying the lovely surroundings. The structure of the home with it’s high ceilings, hand hewn log beams, and craftsmanship of the entire chalet is something to see in itself. And the heated floors make it extra cozy in the winter time….. the sunken, whirlpool tub was an added bonus to a relaxing stay.
We found the chalet to be well appointed with everything one could need as well as many extra touches. You are great hosts and are very accommodating if there are any needs of your guests.
We hope to revisit this summer to enjoy the many warm weather activities as well as do some kayaking.
Thank you for providing a most enjoyable get-away. Tom and Nancy
My family and I had a wonderful time in one of the most beautiful settings Wisconsin has to offer. My 3 year-old son caught 4 hand-sized blue-gill in as many minutes just 40ft from the back door on the Pigeon River. My 6 year daughter and wife enjoyed the tandem kayak (provided) and whirlpool tub most of all. This nice thing was that everything was well-furnished so we didn't need to worry about a fishing poles, bed-sheets, silverware, etc. The remote log cabin and waterfront view give you a truly rustic/romantic north-woods nature experience at an incredible value only 40 minutes north of the Appleton region. As a Dad, I enjoyed grilling on the fire-pit, horseshoes, fishing for northern pike, proximity to nice golf course, and listening to rare birds like Loons. A local guy said the ice-fishing on this river is even better for perch and crappie! Good luck finding a log-home with marble counter tops, over sized garage, and an incredible setting so close to the fox-valley at these rates. The incredibly friendly owners even mentioned it was for sale soon. I would definitely recommend staying here or buying this place for the value...and I didn't even see it in the Fall when it would be the prettiest.
