Truly Special Place

Without hesitation I would say this is a jewel of a vacation rental property. I personally like renting VRBO properties because you are dealing directly with the owners and can get a true feeling for the home prior to your arrival. In this case, everything the owners said about the property was true and my family and I had an amazing time there.
The first thing you notice upon arriving is the spectacular view of the lake spreading out in all directions as the backdrop to the house. What a welcoming site! The home is in a small neighborhood, however the pie-shaped property and wooded lots give you total privacy, making you feel like there are no other house around. The house is built into the side of the hill overlooking the lake, with grand views from huge double level decks on the back side. Three of the bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows/doors to the decks allowing you to wake up with nothing but sunshine and water greeting you each morning. The upstairs has four bedrooms surrounding the great room and kitchen, plus floor-to-ceiling windows/doors overlooking the lake and opening out to the upper deck. The home has been recently renovated with new paint, wood flooring upstairs and carpet downstairs, a renovated kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain. The lower level contains the 5th bedroom, laundry, baths, and the giant play room complete with a very nice pool table, wet bar, couches and giant flat screen TV. Its a great place to hang out, watch movies and play with friends and family. Plus it opens out to another expansive deck overlooking the water.
Outside there is a staircase leading directly down to the backyard (water level) where there is seating around a bonfire pit. Our kids really enjoyed sitting around roasting marshmallows while while the parents kicked back and enjoyed the fire and views of the water. The huge boat dock is a few steps away. It has two boat slips plus areas for your waverunners and other toys. There is a huge deck on the top of the dock for sunning, eating, and laughing at the antics going on out on the water.
You can't go wrong with a stay at this wonderful lakehouse, and I imagine, like myself, that you will soon be going back.
