Guestbook comments from the manager
Thank you all for another enjoyable weekend at your cabin Hidden Cove. Once again we checked into a super clean place with a warm bubbling hot tub. Loved all the new furniture. The sofa is extremely comfortable and the new dinning room set is adorable. New stain out side even new deck furniture. Everyone in our group appreciates how well you keep your place up. The roads are paved and its easy to get a round. We made it into town in less than 20 mins. Notice too some new stores that opened. Love the new restaurants that you told us about in our welcome package. Suba's has some excellent food selections especially their deserts. I appreciated the heads up on the dishwasher. Sears was in and out in 30 mins after replacing with a new one. It worked great too. We also appreciated the bottle of Champagne, how nice of you to remember our wedding anniversary. You guys do a great job and we'll continue to return every year. Please reserve the spring race dates for 2015. We look forward to our return trip. If you send us the link we'll post our review where ever you like or you are welcome to Post on our behalf.
Watauga Lake & River vacation cabin rentals
This place is for the outdoorsy. Folks who like to fish, hike, ski (snow and water skiing). If you love 'God's' country, beautiful scenery and views an dif your idea of 'wildlife' is deer and turkey then you have picked the right spot! Boat rentals thru the local marina's made this lake a first pick.
This vacation rental offers many diverse activities.
You have winter sports to summer sports where the water is very clean. You have fall foliage to sunny summers with no humidity or mosquitoes.
You have nascar racing in Bristol Tennessee just 40 miles
Beech Mountain, NC for snow skiing is 15 miles
Great unique dining/shopping in the near-by towns of Boone and Blowing Rock with outdoor festivals and live entertainment. Family oriented areas. Boat rentals on the lake make it easy for us to teach our kids about the waterways, swimming, fishing and waterskiing without having the expense of owning our own boat.
The most unique benefit is the versatility of this location.
Snow skiing to jet skiing, Fall foliage to wildlife viewing right here on the property. Gorgeous views anytime of the year that are second to none. Paved roads, with good access to town, shopping and restaurants. Zip lines, whitewater rafting, Bristol race. Where mtns meet water.
