Located in the heart of the Chataqua section of Mount Gretna at the end of a cul-de-sac sits this fully furnished cottage built in 1895. Sitting on the porch will leave you feeling like you’re sitting in a tree house, with a beautiful view of the trees and the rooftops of the surrounding cottages. Step out onto the porch on a summers eve and enjoy the music from the theater which is only a few blocks away!

Inside, sunlight dances through the leaves and makes it's way through the many windows and sky lights. Curl up with a book or relax while watching television. For those who like to cook, the kitchen is fully furnished with a nice eat in kitchen. There are three bedrooms, two of which have queen beds while the other has a set of twin beds. The family room includes a twin pull out chair. The cottage is decorated simply and tastefully meant to encourage a tranquil and relaxing environment.

Mount Gretna is a great place to just sit and relax or take part in the local activities. Miniature golf, playground, ice cream at the Jigger Shop, and shows at the playhouse are all within walking distance. Hiking, roller skating, and the lake are just on the other side of town.

very nice house, well maintained and clean.lacking in instructions for closing up the house left us uncomfortable. We were confused by the amount of food in the refridgerator when we arrived.

Wonderfully welcoming Mt. Gretna cottage!

My sister and I were travelling with our 4 nephews, ages 9-16, and we found the cottage and location ideal! The home is very sweet, comfortable and well stocked. Mt. Gretna is an adorable town with so much to do within a reasonable radius. The porch was particularly appealing! With a lake, theater, roller rink, ice cream shop and so much more nestled in the woods of this sweet, old-fashioned vacation town, we don't even need the allure of Hershey Park and Gettysburg to call us back! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for 4 ravenous boys, and the sitting room area was perfectl relaxing for the grown ups/

Excellent place to stay to vacation in central PA!

My family and I were looking for a place to stay while vacationing in the Harrisburg area. We considered several different properties in the area, and we found this one had the right combination of location, features, and charm.

The location is excellent for a variety of day trips: we spent one day each in Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Hershey, each of which was no more than an hour away.

The house was perfect for my wife and two boys (16 and 18). We ate breakfast and dinner on the porch every day.

I love the Mt. Gretna area, which I wouldn't have known about were it not for this rental. It was great to wake up to the birds chirping in the trees and to close the day relaxing on the porch as the sun set.

Everything in the description of this property is absolutely true, and this will be my first choice of accommodations if/when we come back to the area.
