This property was great. Everything was very well kept and It was conveniently located across from the parking lot to the mountain. If we go back to CO for another vacation- We definitely would stay here again.
We enjoyed another visit to the Lodge at Brookside. The check in process with the key codes was a breeze. This condo is great for families because of the three bedrooms plus a loft. However, the pullout couch in the loft is only suitable for a child due to its poor mattress. TV's and internet access was great. You can walk across the street and take the free bus from the Bear parking lot to the base of Beaver Creek. The kitchen was very functional with plenty of cookware and utensils and we were able to cook a couple of meals. The only downside is the highway noise at night so I would recommend bringing a white noise machine. The only other suggestion I would make is to have the owner or Berkshire properties provide salt/pepper and sugar. Otherwise this is a great property to enjoy Beaver Creek without killing your budget.
We were referred the property through friends who lived in the area and were extremely satisfied at the location and amenities of the property. The check-in process was highly organized and provided all necessary details and property information prior to our arrival. The kitchen contained all the necessary equipment to cook several meals and the on-site washer/dryer allowed us to pack less clothes than would normally be required for a week stay. The lodge is located on the bus line for easy transportation to town and the various ski locations and is a short drive from Bachelor-Gulch and Arrowhead. Our group of 6, including 2 very young children, were easily accommodated. The only complaint would be the fold-out couch that is advertised. Sleeping on this induced some back pains due to the age of the mattress and would recommend that it be replaced for future guests.
