Alta Woods, a lovely mountain home located on the northern slope of Cowee Mountain, offers comfort, privacy, tranquility and a sense of being one with its natural surroundings. With ample decking and a 2-story wall of windows in the great room, the outdoors seems to come inside.
Seasonal views are delightful as well as partial views when the trees are in leaf. And our mountain is lush with rhododendrons and flaming azaleas!
“Spacious” describes the recently built home designed with three bedrooms, each with its own full bath. Entertainment amenities are: DirectTV, DVDs, stereo, games, puzzles, books, and a hot tub for four. A fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, and gas grill provide our guests with the comforts of home, and there is even a high chair for our smaller guests.
Come visit this Smoky Mountain home where you can be away from it all and close to so much--hiking, fishing, golfing, white-water rafting, tubing, biking, skiing, antiquing, shopping, dining, gambling. It is an easy drive to the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Harrah’s Casino, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Asheville, the Biltmore Estate, the Smoky Mountain Railroad, art galleries and studios, local arts and crafts, unique shops, local music venues and theaters, museums.
