The apartment is situated in on the upper (attic) floor of a two-family home. The house itself is located in a small village with 400 residents, between Martigny and Verbier, ideally suited for summer and winter activities. It is also perfectly suited for relaxing amidst a personal, stylish atmosphere. The apartment has a living room, a large bedroom, a small bedroom, a completely equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a separate WC. The living room has a cozy corner couch with a table and armchair, a dining table, books to browse, games for 2 to 6 people, a TV / radio, a telephone, a video recorder, and a CD player. The kitchen is equipped with all imaginable utensils and equipment, and the bathroom was freshly renovated in 2005. Pets are welcome. Many regular guests are happy to return to this little jewel in Valais. The fine decor, the stylish furnishings, the favourable location, and the price all help to make this very appealing indeed.
Swimming / Hot Springs: There is a swimming pool in Martigny and hot springs in Ovronnaz (30 minutes) and in Saillon (20 minutes).
Art / Culture: While in Martigny, one may visit the Fondation Giannada, a modern art museum which features outstanding exhibitions. These have included Van Gogh, Cézanne, Klee, Kandinsky, and Turner in the last few years... In Sion, you'll find beautiful castles, the ancient cloister in St. Maurice, the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, the headquarters of the IOC, or the Food Museum (!) in Vevey, Nestlé's headquarters.
One thing I love about this apartment is that it's very easy to find. We didn't have a hard time locating it. The host was great and provided us with the necessary information that made our vacation very smooth. I think we will be coming back here again and again. Can't wait!
We had a great vacation in this apartment. It was off-season hiking vacation, the weather was unpredictable, and we looked for an apartment close to main roads, so we can change our plans according to the weather. We got all we expected for. Though low beams did cause some problems for my tall husband, the apartment is cosy, clean and well maintained, has everything you may ever need - fully equipped kitchen, nice crockery, a lot of tourist information b??klets, even a sewing kit! The location is unrivaled. We were snowshoeing one day near Chamonix and hiking Torrent Neuf near Sion or ladders of Albinen on the other days. Gorges du Durnand are just around the corner.
Owner doesn't live on site, but has provided us with full information, answered all our questions and even phoned on the day of our arrival to check that everything is OK.
Thank you, Ami, for the good service and nice apartment. We hope to return one day with the kids (so we can use both bedrooms!) to show them Valais, we have a lot of routes untraveled.
Apartment was easy to find and we were very happy with it, we found it spacious for two couples and it had everything you will need, we have never seen such copious amounts of towels etc in a rental property. The rental is within easy reach of many fantastic places and is situated just off the main road in a quiet street, you can even walk to the Gorges as the start of them is situated at the end of the road, all in all we hade a fantastic week there and the attentive owner even rang us up one evening to see if everything was to our liking. If we were visiting this area again l would not hesitate to rent the property again as l feel it was real value for money no hidden charges and final cleaning fees unlike some.
The only very slight fault l could make is watch your head on some of the low beams as me being quite tall had a few conflicts with them, but towards the end of the week you have got used to them.

We came in this apartment for a week and we rented a car. The apartment was easy to find and from where it is located we could easily visit several sites (Lake Geneve, Gruyeres & Broc, Fribourg, Chamonix-Mont Blanc, Nendaz, Sion, Leukerbad and Zermatt).
Before choosing this apartment I did an extensive search and I selected this specific apartment in view of its location and price. The apartment offers good value for money since it is of a good size and is equiped with everything.
The owner provided a lot of information and we could easily communicate with her through e-mails. As it was agreed we paid around 3 weeks in advance and the transaction was smooth.
The apartment was as described and everything was clean.
The apartment is very comfortable even for kids (we had 2 small kids) but the only advice I give to people with small infants is to always lock the apartment's door. There are not a lot of steps to reach the apartment however if they open the door obviously they can easily fall. Otherwise it is totally safe for kids and since the kitchen is well equipped one could eaily prepare food for babies/infants (food processor, microwave etc). Our kid also enjoyed running in the surrounding greenery.
We would surely love to come again and I recommend this apartment to others in view of its facilities, location and price.
This is an amazing apartment, we were working in the Alps and needed somewhere just like this. We loved the quality of the apartment, location and everything about it. It's the best place we have stayed all season and cannot wait to come back. We will certainly be making long term bookings next season. Thanks a lot Ami!

We found ‘Les Myosotis’ to be perfect for our needs. The apartment is comfortable and it contains everything required for a great holiday and much more. Les Valettes is ideally situated to explore Valais and has good transport links to several other regions of Switzerland and beyond by both road and rail. The St Bernard Highway is close by and the railway station at Bovernier is just a fifteen minute walk away. The pleasant town of Martigny is then only a ten minute journey. We would certainly recommend this flat to anyone searching for self-catering holiday accommodation in Switzerland. The owner is very helpful and provides a lot of useful information for both the apartment and the surrounding area. We will be returning regularly to continue our exploration of this fascinating and beautiful region.
'Les Myosotis' is located in the village of Les Valettes along the road from the Rhone valley (Martigny) to the St. Berhard Pass, at the foot of the Catogne. One can hike straight from the house. With the car, you can reach Martigny in 5, Verbier and Sion in 20, Lake Geneva (Montreux) in 30, Lausanne in 50, Chamonix (F) or Evian (F) or Aosta (I) in 60, and Geneva in 75 minutes. 'Likely the most beautiful, most varied, best connected, with the most beautiful view of the entire Alps,' the ski region of Verbier is easily reached via the cable railway in Le Châble which is just 12 minutes away (free parking). Hikes that go straight from the front door: Bovernier's vineyards, over the Chemin to Martigny (famous art museum with high-ranking, and much discussed exhibits), up into the high valley of Champex.
Ski: The village of 'Le Châble' is just 12 minutes away and features a large, free parking lot at the base terminal of the gondola lift. This takes you up over Verbier without stopping, to the ski paradise at the 'Les Attelas' peak terminal; at no extra charge, providing you have a ski pass. It couldn't be easier. You can save yourself a twisting drive up to Verbier, plenty of time, and last but not least, expensive parking fees.
