Our contemporary and relatively new house (built 1995) provides a combination of modern urban living and a comfortable retreat. This newly furnished home is modern in design with an open concept living and eating area that is perfect to relax, work or entertain in. A large amount of windows in every room and a large skylight in the center of the house provides natural sunlight all day throughout the entire house. Best of all is the stunning and magical views from the penthouse master bedroom and balcony, of Twin Peaks, Noe Valley and the downtown skyline.
The kitchen is newly remodeled with sleek cherry wood cabinetry and silent closures. Distinctive granite counter tops and glass tile backsplash show off a professional designers touch. All new stainless steel appliances, including gas burners, gas grill and griddle. Refrigerator with ice maker. Beverage center with wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. There is a choice of casual eating areas; the café table with high stools, the granite counter island or the comfortable banquette seating. As well there is a wall mounted large screen HDTV.
The living room and sitting area have modern lighting featuring a George Nelson lamp, large comfortable couches in front of the fireplace and a large HDTV’s with stereo and DVD player. The floor to ceiling windows look out to the lush patio garden where you’ll find the large gas BBQ.
The bedroom breakdown (Sleeps a total of 6):
*Penthouse master bedroom (3rd floor) has a king size platform bed, double sinks, shower in tub. Large screen HDTV with cable and DVD player. Access to West facing balcony with breathtaking 180 degree views. Private access to East facing sun deck.
*Master suite (2nd floor) has queen size bed, large desk area, double sinks, shower in tub.
*Large bedroom (2nd floor) has a bunk bed with a twin size bed on top and a double size bed on the bottom. Beautiful garden views. An adjacent bathroom with single sink and shower in bath.
Total house space is 2400sq. ft.

Minimum stay of seven days in June, July and August.
All linens are provided as well, a high capacity, HE washer and dryer. Secure WIFI provided.
The ground floor has a large two-car garage with electric garage door. If you are not renting a car for your whole stay there a ZipCar or CityCarShare service—for short term rentals/day outing that are available within a few blocks.
Public transit is an easy walk with in a few blocks to bus lines, MUNI rail lines and BART (the Bay Areas subway system). These will take you to every area of the city, as well as the airport. The Bay Bridge and highways to Silicon Valley are all accessible within a few minutes drive. 15 minutes from SFO.

What can I say, my home is in one the most beautiful and sought out destinations in the world. It is in a hip but family friendly village in SF called Bernal Heights which is in the central part of the city. It gets the most sun and the least amount of fog. Close to freeways to get you quickly to the most sought out areas of the bay area and 15 minutes to the most popular tourist areas in San Francisco; Fisherman's wharf, downtown, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Ocean Beach, etc. Even closer are the hip and eclectic restaurants and shops of the Mission District and The Castro. A must see is to climb the famous stairs that are on my block that take you to the top of Bernal Hill for a breath-taking 360 degree view of San Francisco and the Bay Area!
