My Wife's family had a home in the Monterey Country Club. She had so many wonderful memories of this place. We wanted that for our children. We spend a great deal of time here and it's truely a vacation everytime. We looked long and hard for the perfect location within Monterey CC. We wanted the sun hitting our porch all day with the 180 degree mountain views with the expanded porch so you don't see neighbors, even though are neighbors are Wonderful! We have done a lot to our home to make it a special and would like to share with others.
Oh My Gosh. Too many to list....Let's give you our normal day. We wake up early to see the sunrise from our patio. Walk along the Golf Course to the Clubhouse for our Favorite Chirizo Breakfast Burritos. Enjoy the outdoor balcony, watching the Golfers get ready for there round. Then we start with the kids activites. Whether they're Golfing, taking the Tram to the top of the mountain to hike, visiting the Knotts Waterpark, etc. this allows my wife and I some quite time to just soak up the rays on the porch listing to great music. Usually for lunch we'll either barbeque or go to The River's for a movie and lunch at PF Changs. We usually take a bike ride over to the tennis courts for a quick game before we visit one of the 36 pool/jacuzzi's in the community. We always make sure were back on our porch for every Spectacular Sunset. With the Firepit lit, the Barbequing begins! Occasionally we hit the Casino or The Show. My husband and I spent the last 2 winters at Steve and Kelly's great place in the Monterey Country Club. We loved it so much the first year that we came back for two months this year. This condo is very tastefully and comfortably decorated and we have enjoyed entertaining out of town friends. There is sunshine all day long on the southern facing patio with panoramic views of spectacular mountains. It is truly breathtaking. And when the sun goes down and it turns cooler, we simply light the outdoor firepit and enjoy the rest of the evening. We love Palm Desert because it is in the center of the Coachella Valley and the Monterey Country Club is so close to one of our favorite attractions -- the Street Fair held every weekend in the winter on the grounds of the College of the Desert. Our hosts were very accessible and gracious to us when we had a question or a need. We would highly recommend this roomy property, and would book it again next year for an even longer time period, except that we just bought a home of our own in the wonderful Monterey Country Club.
