Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2.5+ Baths, (Sleeps 5-6)

This Beachfront/Oceanfront 1800 sq. ft. , 3 BR, 2.5BA condo offers spectacular panoramic views of Bahia de Banderas Bay. It is nestled into a peaceful cove, surrounded by lush and colorful bougainvillea plants. It is situated on the finest PRIVATE BEACH in the PV area. This is a gated community with 24 hr. security. Off the Living Room and the Master Bedroom is a spacious balcony where, at the end of another day in paradise, you can watch the sun sink into the water in a fiery ball of pink, purple and orange; this is best viewed through a margarita glass! During the day, you can watch dolphins at play or whales passing by. We keep binoculars at the ready!

Nothing separates you from the white sandy beaches other than the 3 inviting, heated swimming pools. These are child friendly with shallow ends, and there is even a separate area for toddlers in the infinity pool.

The exquisitely manicured grounds and gardens are rich with tropical trees, plants and flowers.

There is a mini-mart next door for basic needs and a wonderful Palapa beach restaurant, built on the rocks, at the waters edge. They feature a great happy hour, delicious food, and reasonable prices. One short walk across the sand and you are there!

Taxis are conveniently located and buses run every 10 minutes to take you to town. This is a PERFECT location: away from the noise and crowds and pollution but only 10 minutes away by car from all of the exciting restaurants, nightclubs, cafes, shops and galleries in the quaint town center.

This is an exclusive gated enclave with security 24/7 and English-speaking staff who are eager to help in any way that they can. Daily maid service is available at extra charge. There is a library with private phone booths, computers with internet connections, or WiFi for your laptop at a nominal charge. There is no charge for parking a rental car on the premises.

One stoll on the Malecon of the town of PV, and you know this area is a haven for artists. Our condo reflects this. It is exquisitely decorated with original artworks by Mexican artists, colorful stained glass, upscale furnishings, and indoor/outdoor eating areas. Evenings in this condo are enchanting! This unit offers a washer/dryer, a dishwasher satellite TV, WiFi, and other amenities.

It is an idyllic launching pad for your PV vacation!

About The Owner

We are a professional couple living in Atlanta, GA, and are co-owners of this property with my brother, who is a physician in Denver. We both have large families, with 8 kids between us, and are not able to visit Puerto Vallarta as often as we would like. This is the first year that we have decided to open our home to discerning vacation renters.

The Owner purchased this condo in 1995
Why The Owner chose Playas Gemelas

My family has been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta since the 1980's. This town has always held a special attraction due to its great blend of old world Mexican charm and access to upscale, modern amenities such as great restaurants and fabulous art galleries. Playas Gemelas is in the perfect location, with easy access to town, yet, the atmosphere is peaceful and unhurried - a perfectly private little slice of paradise.

What makes this condo unique

Since previously our parents lived in PV several months out of the year, this condo is appointed and equipped as a home, not a rental unit. You will not find bare cupboards and a few utensils here. Most everything you will need is provided. There are locally owned supermarkets and fish vendors in town, and WalMart and Costco out by the airport. The fresh seafood is not to be missed! For some quick, basic items there is a small grocery in the Girasol building across the beach - yes, they carry beer, wine and tequila. If you are not interested in cooking, there are many wonderful restaurants within easy reach.

The location and amenities of this BEAUTIFUL condo home were so WONDERFUL, we didn't want to leave! Other residents within the condo complex and maintenance staff were very friendly and we felt right at home immediately.

The owner was attentive to any of our needs with immediate response. Very well maintained and perfect location for us; would come back in a heart beat! Thank you for making our trip to PV - a wonderful vacation, we will not soon forget!!

We absolutely loved our stay! No photo could do this condo justice- it has an over 180 degree Oceanfront view of the blue Mexican Pacific Ocean. I have lived in the PV area and can tell you that this is the best beach and the best water for swimming. The condo is spacious and comfortable and the three pools in the complex are great for people of all ages. We went with family members ranging from 4 months to age 83 and everyone was able to enjoy. A truly wonderful option for enjoying the lush jungle and the ocean. For us, staying out of the hustle and bustle is the best option, but downtown PV is just about 10 minutes away by car. We hope to return soon.
