About The Owner
My wife, Pamela, and I grew up in Fayetteville; we live in Memphis, TN. I am a retired commercial pilot and military officer. In 2000, because we were in Fayetteville a lot, we decided that we needed a place of our own. We found a duplex one side of which was for sale, so we purchased it. In January of 2008, when the opportunity to purchase the second side presented itself, we took it. In June of 2008 demolition began and by the fall of 2009, the work was finished. We furnished it with pieces we collected through travel and accumulated furniture. We love the way it turned out. David

Why The Owner chose Fayetteville
Visits to Fayetteville, where friends and relatives still live, are welcome retreats for us. We both attended Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas. We attend most Razorback home football games and other events at the university, and other events in Fayetteville.
What makes this condo unique
During the renovation, we enclosed three screened-in porches increasing the heated and cooled space from 2350 square feet to 2617 and added a large deck on the back. Location, they say, is everything, and this duplex is on top of a hill overlooking the stretch of land to the northwest of Fayetteville. The location is in easy walking distance of the university and Razorback Stadium. That really comes in handy on football afternoons or evenings. Privacy is important to us. With each bedroom is a private bath, so sharing the rental with friends or family would be comfortable and economical.
