A Nature Lover's Paradise
A Nature Lover's Paradise
I stayed here with my family for 3 weeks, and we loved it! Everything we really like was so close to us! We had a canal behind us, Lake Rosalie just down the street, and the community pool and fishing pier within walking distance. My son recently started fishing and caught his first big fish (catfish) in the canal. We also saw all kinds of unusual birds, including sandhill cranes, snowy egrets, herons, several species of hawk, and a bald eagle around the lake. A nearby fish camp offers rental boats and nature tours so we were able to take a very enjoyable tour of Lake Rosalie on a pontoon boat. We were also close to many different nature preserves, historical Lake Wales and the Bok Tower. We were conveniently located near Jay Bees Restaurant, and the town of Lake Wales has several wonderful restaurants, including L'Incontro, the Crazy Fish, the Inn at Cherry Pocket, Romeos and Mannys.
Our rental home was just perfect for us! It was like our home away from home. It was very spacious and clean, and the easy chairs, beds, and couches were very comfortable. We particularly liked the Florida room, where we had a beautiful view of some of Florida's finest sunsets. Also, the people here seem very nice, and all of our rental contacts, Dean, Judy, Ray and Martha, were very friendly and helpful. This place is a nature lover's paradise and a fisherman's dream come true! We'd recommend it to any of our family and friends. We can't wait to come back here next summer!
