SEATTLE WATERFRONT HOME, WATCH PUGET SOUND'S MARITIME PARADE.

Seattle House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

Waterfront home on the shores of the famous Ship Canal. Only a few steps to Hiram Chittenden Locks to the East and Discovery Park to the West; two of Seattle's most visited sites.

The home is front row to the Ship Canal. Water traffic includes day trippers, to Alaska fishermen, tugs are a favorite, great blue heron rookery, resident sea lions, fish jumping, beautiful sunsets and ever changing activity on the water make this truly a unique location.

The home is Northwest Contemporary in style. It features a full kitchen, with stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker (this is Seattle, after all) cooking and dining supplies. The kitchen is open to the living room and walls of windows to the views. The living room has cable HDTV, Apple TV, Hulu, HBO and fireplace and walks onto the view deck.

There are three bedrooms, two with big waterfront views, one enjoys a walk in closet and space for a crib if desired.

There is an in unit full sized laundry, and a newly refinished three quarter bath.

The sunny waterfront deck is a nice place to finish the day or take the steps to the waterfront yard to enjoy the nautical parade.

You will be delighted with your stay here. This home is in a very safe, upscale neighborhood. Downtown Seattle and SeaTac airport is an easy, quick drive. This will be the perfect home base for your vacation!

Of the places I have lived, this is by far the most facinating and enjoyable! The waterfront is very active, local sights and great restaurants are within walking distance. A quick drive and you are in the heart of Seattle visiting Pike Place Market. I think you will find this is the perfect location for your Seattle vacation.

Gina purchased this house in 2008

I am no scientist, but I have read that in environments with salt tinged sea air (like this Waterfront) an abundance of negative ions(electrically charged atoms) are found, which increases the brains seratonin levels, thereby giving an overall feeling of wellbeing and energy! That's pretty great.

A great home for both kids and adults

  • 5 of 5
We travel to Seattle fairly often, and this lovely home is our favorite place to bring the family. It's very young-child-friendly: Lot's of toys, a pack n play and few breakables. For grown-ups it offers a wonderful view of the ship channel from both inside and patio, easy access to downtown, plus an easy walk to the Ballard locks, shops and pubs. This place has it all.

Great property

  • 5 of 5
We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was very nice and clean. It was right on the water and next to the train tracts with a bridge. It was very cool watching the bridge go up to let a larger boat get through. It's close to the city center, about 20 min drive if that. I would recommend this property and would stay there again.

Memorable stay

  • 5 of 5
It's our first visit to Seattle and this property gave us the best impression of this beautiful city. The view from Salmon Bay is pretty as a picture.
Gina is a perfect hostess, never in our way and manages the place immaculately. My wife insists she is a Virgo because only a Virgo can pay so much attention to details. Needless to say, my wife is a Virgo. I never got to find out about Gina.

Perfect!

You house is absolutely wonderful. The accommodations were great. It is within walking distance of the Ballard locks. We walked through a botanical garden to find great restaurants. It was an easy drive to the attractions downtown. And the view... You just have to be there.

I wish we could have stayed longer, but look forward to returning!

Never a dull moment!

  • 5 of 5
My husband and our two children (ages six years and 18 months) just stayed at Gina's wonderful place for a week. We loved watching the constant parade of boats headed through (or coming from) the locks, trains going over the tressle, kayakers, SUPers, birds fishing, seals, etc., etc., etc. So close to the locks and downtown Ballard (by foot or bike!). Property was clean and perfectly laid out for our family. We will most certainly be back!
