Seattle House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

There are three bedrooms, two with big waterfront views, one enjoys a walk in closet and space for a crib if desired.

The sunny waterfront deck is a nice place to finish the day or take the steps to the waterfront yard to enjoy the nautical parade.

Of the places I have lived, this is by far the most facinating and enjoyable! The waterfront is very active, local sights and great restaurants are within walking distance. A quick drive and you are in the heart of Seattle visiting Pike Place Market. I think you will find this is the perfect location for your Seattle vacation.

Gina purchased this house in 2008

I am no scientist, but I have read that in environments with salt tinged sea air (like this Waterfront) an abundance of negative ions(electrically charged atoms) are found, which increases the brains seratonin levels, thereby giving an overall feeling of wellbeing and energy! That's pretty great.

NEVER A DULL MOMENT!

  • 5 of 5
My husband and our two children (ages six years and 18 months) just stayed at Gina's wonderful place for a week. We loved watching the constant parade of boats headed through (or coming from) the locks, trains going over the tressle, kayakers, SUPers, birds fishing, seals, etc., etc., etc. So close to the locks and downtown Ballard (by foot or bike!). Property was clean and perfectly laid out for our family. We will most certainly be back!

SUPERB STAY!

  • 5 of 5
This was our first time using VRBO.

Our family stay in Seattle was perfect thanks to the fabulous accommodations. The unit was clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. The views are picturesque.

Our family weekend celebrating our son's graduation from UWSOD was spectacular!

We will be using VRBO again and highly recommend Gina's place on Salmon Bay!

GREAT WATERFRONT LOCATION FOR A BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

  • 5 of 5
We celebrated my youngest sons 21st birthday and decided to pick this location based upon the pictures and reviews. The pictures and description were spot on and the home was immaculate. This an incredible location. Walking distance to the Ballard Locks and Discovery Park. Gina included the small things that really made this location feel like a home away from home. Down to q-tips in the bathroom....

We wound up walking to Ballard by going across the locks and ate at the Kick n Boots which I highly recommend. Also the Paseo sandwich shop is a little further which has incredible sandwiches. This is a little walk up sandwich shop and there was a line but well worth the wait.
Gina was very kind and even provided some sparkling juice and some cookies to welcome us to Seattle. Very nice. The boat traffic out front was a real treat for us as we got to watch a parade of boats in the morning as they made their way out to the sound.

I was a little worried that we were perhaps a bit loud as we stayed up late on Friday and Saturday given this is the lower floor of a house with its own private entrance but apparently we were okay.

If train noise bothers you this would be the only down side to this location because it is right next to a busy draw bridge that trains cross several times a day. We personally enjoyed watching the trains and the boats and even saw a train carrying the fuselage of a jet. In addition it does have steep stairs that you must traverse to get into the unit so you need to be comfortable going up and down those. But we were definitely aware of those before we booked

I would highly recommend this to anyone and would definitely stay here again..

Thank you Gina for an incredible weekend.

BEST EXPERIENCE IN SEATTLE

  • 5 of 5
Comfortable home with everything you may need. Incredible views not just at daytime, It was cold and windy when we stay here, the sky was clean and the moon was bright. You can sit in front of the windows and stay up all night.

Magnolia is a wonderful area in Seattle, Gina's home has the best view of Salmon bay, and the south of Magnolia island has the best view of downtown. BTW, the fish and chips next to the seafood market is the second best in the world!
