It's the convenience that impressed us... being able to sit out on the lanai and savor the gulf view, listen to the waves, watch the birds land in the lagoon just a few feet away... and then walk right out the screen door and in a minute be on the beach or take a dip in the pool. The easy life... That's what we wanted for our family and we know you'll feel the same way once you've experienced it!

Not that you'll want to leave the condo! We have free wi-fi and flat-screen cable TV in all the rooms.. Colorful Floridian decor with plenty of space to stretch out; a fabulous kitchen with all the things you need at your disposal when you wish to eat in (our favorite meal is breakfast on the lanai but we also love to use the lagoon-side BBQ grills to meet other guests and enjoy a home cooked dinner)..

The master bedroom features a view of the gulf and a king-size memory foam bed and has an attached private bathroom suite. The second bedroom has twin beds and direct access to its bathroom. There is room for an additional roll-away if needed.

We also have a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress.

But thing that really is special about the ground floor units at Pointe Santo is that it is very hard on Sanibel to find true ground floor convenience combined with beautiful views of the gulf.. This is because of the zoning on Sanibel that has pushed most development far back away from the beach and established a natural vegetative buffer zone separating the beach form the properties - a buffer that usually blocks some or all of the view of the gulf from the grounds and ground floor units.

NOT SO AT POINTE SANTO! We are among the very few complexes that has a full unobstructed view of the gulf from just about anywhere in the courtyard. This means you can enjoy the view form the lounge chairs on the lawn at beach's edge and watch the pelicans fly and the dolphin swim while sitting under the palm trees....or from the pool and, especially from your lanai. And because our building are not set back from the beach, everyone has close contact with the beach!

Want to do something? Enjoy on-site tennis or shuffleboard. Perhaps join a game of beach volleyball. There is even a children's activity program available. We are right on Sanibel bike path and you can take an easy ride to shopping, restaurants or perhaps the wonderful wildlife refuges nearby.

Whatever your desires are, we are sure that Sanibel and Pointe Santo will form the basis for many happy memories as it has for our family. We welcome you to enjoy the easy life as our guests!

Our stay at Pointe Santo was everything that we expected. The apartment was well appointed and we found everything that we were looking for. The location of the actual unit on the ground floor was perfect for my family with three small children for easy access to the beach through the lanai, without having to walk around the building. Great vacation, beautiful weather, I would highly recommend this unit. The owners were very easy to deal with and extremely responsive to all of my questions prior to renting the unit. Check in and check out was hassle free as well. Overall excellent value for money, high recommended.

Our family of five (three boys) enjoys travelling, fine food and exploring the natural world. Mom and Dad are doctors specializing in natural healing methods and 'the boys' are all talented both musically and theatrically.

We also have one cat and 6 laying hens. None travel with us.

After coming to Sanibel for years we decided to make it official in 2003 and purchase a vacation home. We love biking and nature and have become avid shellers. We live in the northeast and having the connection to Sanibel warms us even during the coldest winter days. We hope to make Sanibel our home in the years to come!

We enjoy being so close to shopping, theater, and the wildlife refuge. Everything you want is within a 5-10 minute drive. Leaving the mainland and arriving on Sanibel is like shedding your skin- you feel renewed! The best part our our location is that we can get up early and watch sunrise over the gulf looking toward the mainland and take our morning walk along the beach (and collect a few shells).. Then in the evening take a drink to the beach and watch a glorious sunset over the Gulf of Mexico and watch for the 'Green Flash'. Heavenly!
