About The Owner
We are four grandchildren who inherited this property from our grandfather who used it for many years as a small working farm. Three of us live in New England and one in California. We invested in a major restoration and equipped the home with modern appliances and amenities. We maintain and upgrade the property regularly.
We have a shared summer vacation home on an adjacent 3 acre parcel, and visit regularly during the summer. We have a resident caretaker who takes care of routine maintenance issues as they arise. One of the owners is usually on site in an adjacent home during the summer months.
The Owner purchased this farmhouse in 1990
Why The Owner chose Edgartown
This property has been in our family for 75 years. We visit frequently including every summer continuously since 1981. Our children and grandchildren visit and stay in an adjacent family property every summer.
What makes this farmhouse unique
All island outdoor activities, beach swimming, sailing, boating, clamming, fishing, biking, kayaking and socializing with friends and neighbors...to name just a few. Our children and grandchildren visit often. Very safe and ideal setting for young children
