Overview

Teton Village House Rental Photos and Description

Luxury vacation rental home with views, golf, pool, and other amenities.

**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary**

Tucked into the village-like setting of Shooting Star Ranch, Shooting Star Cabin 8 is a fine blend of Wyoming architectural high style and rustic cabin comfort. The main living areas and the master bedroom are on the second floor, where the views are wide and open and the rooms feel as if they are floating; while the guest bedrooms are below on the first floor, where doors open right to the terrace, the hot tub and the great wild valley.

In the living room, a high, barn-like ceiling vaults over the wood-burning fireplace, the deep leather armchairs and couch. The smooth wooden dining table, a polished counterpoint to the rustic cabin character, seats six with ease. Just steps away, the breakfast bar divides the dining room from the kitchen, and doubles as a convenient serving buffet.

The kitchen is quite spacious, and very well-equipped: the Sub-Zero system includes multiple freezer and refrigeration drawers, a wine cooler and a large single door refrigerator. Dual sinks make quick work of prep and clean up; while wall ovens, a warming drawer and microwave complement the Viking 6-burner range and oven.

Just past the kitchen, a roomy landing serves as a sitting room; a TV rises up out of the sideboard at the touch of a button, and the couch pulls out into a bed when extra sleeping space is required. The powder room just beside it has a million-dollar view down the whole Snake River Range.

A window-lined hallway heads off from the landing toward the high-ceilinged master suite, where the king size bed faces the soft flicker of a huge stone, gas fireplace. The Gros Ventre Mountains and the ski slopes fill up the mullioned windows; a writing desk stands in an alcove. The master bath is large and luxurious, paneled in creamy wood, with a big walk-in shower, a soaking tub and a separate water closet.

Shooting Star Cabin 8’s first floor is made up of two wings: one for utilitarian pursuits – with a laundry center, the heated two-car garage and a mudroom with ample storage for walking sticks, jackets, skis and boots; and another wing for sleeping, with three two bedrooms and a trundle room. Each of the bedrooms has a comfort and a character all its own, with windows that seem more like landscape paintings hung upon the walls. One guest room has a king bed, wrapped with mountain views and a wide stone gas fireplace. This room's bath has a separate water closet, a tub/shower combination and dual sinks set in a stone-topped vanity.

In the twin bedroom, two rustic but deeply comfortable twin beds flank a shared bedside table and reading lamp. Its private bath is finished with Wyoming limestone accents, and floors warmed by radiant heat. In the final, “trundle” room, a twin bed pulls out from beneath a wood-framed day couch, creating top and bottom sleeping positions. Wonderfully, the sunny guest corridor opens onto the stone terrace and the hot tub.

The hot tub beckons after an exhilarating day on the trails – whether hiking, heliskiing, biking or horseback riding. In summer, the stone terrace offers front-row seating for watching the paragliders soar across the sky, or colorful hot air balloons rise up into the expansive pink of dawn. Shooting Star Ranch is set right next to Teton Village and all the opportunities it has to offer – from the world’s best downhill skiing to sports shops to excellent restaurants. Shooting Star sits just on the edge of Teton Village. The shops, restaurants, symphony, horseback riding, sleigh ride and festivals in Teton Village are just a few moments way.

Reviewer Comments:

Fantastic house, amenities provided in the house and view. That aspect was terrific, I would have preferred more visibility going into the stay(s) on the availability/usage of the Shooting Star clubhouse and those amenities even if it required an up charge.

Reviewer Comments:

Fantastic home, very well appointed and stocked (although we did not cook much, it still looked much better than usual). The clubhouse was fantastic too. Two issues, one, the shuttle bus only runs until 5pm - terrific promptness otherwise but it shuts down too early. And two, the clubhouse should be permanently part of the rental package - not 5 days only per person and no to returning guests. Those two are big turnoffs for the type of home we rented.

The Cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. We had such a great time, due in part to the home feeling we got from the first moment we stepped in our cabin.

Reviewer Comments:

Beautiful log cabin home in Teton Village - fully equipped with what you need for a weeks stay (except for food and drink of course)!! A welcome goody bag with treats for the kids some amazing cookies awaited our arrival. From the cabin we had awesome views of the surrounding Tetons. Five minute drive to the entrance to Teton National Park. Approx 1 hour SCENIC drive to yellowstone NP and about 15 min drive to the town of Jackson Hole which has plenty of shopping and places to eat. Great location! Amazing rental property - including the use of the club pool and fitness facility!! Will definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting this area. Hope to return in the future!!

An absolutely magnificent home, fantastic views and truly first-class amenities. No expense was spared in the design, furnishings or decor, as this home is an architectural gem, perfectly designed for a large family or a group of friends. This is a skier's or vacationeer's dream house. The Shooting Star Clubhouse, Restaurant and facilities are beyond 5-star and offer guests a pampered and luxury oasis at the base of the Teton Mountains. The Clear Creek Group was attentive to our every need and provided excellent on-site management and assistance. We felt well taken care of and look forward to our next visit to Cabin 8!

The house surpassed expectations. The management company did, too. When we called about a broken blender, we had a new one within the hour, even though it was 6:00 at night!
