We know you will enjoy your stay at this beautiful home in the Kentucky Bluegrass area where you will find horses, tobacco fields, gorgeous Kentucky farms, historic paddle wheel riverboats, the mighty Ohio River, basketball fever, university life, unique museums, the Louisville Slugger factory tour, Bourbon distillery tours, Churchill Downs and so much more!

This sprawling ranch home is extremely comfortable with a large living room, dining room, spacious eat in kitchen, family room with wet bar and fireplace, king master bedroom and bath, 2 queen bedrooms and a bath and 2 decks - one off the master bedroom and a very large deck accessible through the family room and the kitchen. And that's just upstairs (did we mention the piano?)! Downstairs you will find a relaxing game room with fireplace, ping pong table, TV and various board games, as well as 2 more bedrooms (one a double bed, the other a queen bed with 2 additional twins) and a full bath.

And if you enjoy great photography... all the artwork in this home was done by a professional outdoor photographer!

Louisville hosts, and has hosted, several major world class events - most notable of these is the Kentucky Derby - as well as The Breeders Cup, The Ryder Cup and the World Equestrian Games. This home is conveniently located to ALL of it! It is easily accessible, within 2 miles, to 2 major highway systems that loop around the city for easy navigation and you can be downtown, riverside, in 15 simple minutes.

I was very impressed by how spacious and clean the house was! The accommodations exceeded my expectations. As a first time VRBO renter, I was blown away with what was available to me in the home. It truly was a home away from home and even better!! It was easy to get down town Louisville. It was easy to find the property. The owner was organized in her information for the planning as well as the in home stay. It was a delightful experience.

I rented the home for my family to stay in while they were in town for my wedding. The first text I received was from my mother saying they thought they were in heaven. The house was wonderful! Everything was just as described. They had plenty of room to spread out in and the kids really liked the game room. 12 of my family stayed there and everyone was very happy. They really liked that they could close off the formal living and dining area to keep the kids out so they didn't mess it up to much. The owner was very helpful, everything was clean, well-maintained and beautiful. We went to visit after the wedding and I was as impressed as they were. They would love it if I rented this house every time they come to visit. My mom mistakenly took a key home and Wendy was very nice about it and we mailed it right back.

Fabulous for large groups

The house was comfortable, clean, well laid out. Really the perfect size for our group. We had 11 women, everyone had a place to sleep (in a bedroom, on a bed)! No couch sleeping!! Had a nice stocked kitchen, garage to park in, deck out back, very private, and just a great feel to it. Thanks Wendy!!!

Great Home-away from Home

This is our second year to stay in this lovely home. Five couples come to Louisville from Iowa for the National Quartet Convention and we couldn't ask for better accommodations. The little creek and falls behind the house are beautiful.
It is convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Wendy is wonderful to work with and we look forward to staying here again next year.
