This cabin is much prettier and roomier inside than you'd expect from the pictures. The kitchen is well-equipped and the bathroom well-stocked. We spent a romantic weekend here with our dog: we brought along a couple extra sheets to cover furniture and dog slept on the loveseat at the foot of our bed - it was perfect. The hot tub was terrific. Although the cabin is on a fairly busy road next to a storage facility, it's set back from the road and a tall fence keeps things quieter and private.

A couple of cons: at the time we were there, the stream behind the cabin was a mess. It had clearly overflowed during spring and the bank was mud speckled with broken bottles. There was an ant problem on the porch; we never saw any inside, but getting to the hot tub meant crunching over lines of them. Otherwise, the property was beautifully maintained and very clean.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Abbey Inn Sweetheart Cabin

This was our first time staying at Abbey Inn. We stayed in the Sweetheart Cabin. It was adorable. So clean, neat, and tidy. They had everything we needed in the kitchen as far as dishes and cooking utensils. Pleanty of towels and wash clothes. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful and relaxing. The outside firepit was thoughtfully surrounded by pea gravel incase of muddy weather. We locked our selves out the first night and Abbey Inn came directly to our rescue and unlocked the door. The lady was very friendly and laughed about it and made us feel more at ease than rediculous for locking ourselves out of our cabin. The best part was we could take our dog Rudy with us. He enjoyed it too! They even had a little charcoal grill on the patio/porch out front. I loved it. I can't wait to come back to Abbey Inn! I can't think of anything I would change..... Abbey Inn thought of everything. Thanks Abbey Inn for the relaxing ,stay. We will be back !!!! Todd, Lauri, Rudy Tipton, Indiana

This was the perfect place for us to get away and celebrate our anniversary. The cabin had everything we needed, was not far from home and was affordable. My husband and I have decided that we will return often.

We stayed at the Abbey Inn Sweetheart cabin. It was a very nice cabin and very clean. Everything went very well and was very private and we enjoyed a nice and quiet and peaceful engagment weekend. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
