WELCOME TO TRIZONIA HOUSE!
The 250 m² property on the idyllic island of Trizonia in the heart of Greece is at 60 m height and located 200 m away from the town center and the beach. The large panoramic terraces with pergola roofing offer a breathtaking panoramic view over the Gulf of Corinth and the island. The main building is generously designed at 90 m². An open kitchen with a modern gas stove is designed for the most demanding gourmets and two 360 ° fireplaces invite to grill over charcoal and alternatively spend warmth in winter. From the living room you can dive right into the 36 m² cruciform swimming pool with a shaded grotto. A bedroom with en-suite bathroom and large mosaic bathtub, a workplace with computer (WLAN), and a guest toilet in the entrance area complete the main building.
Two 25 m² apartments on the ground floor and two 25 m² on the upper floor - each with private access to the panoramic terraces, private bathrooms with shower, and a kitchenette - are grouped around the main building. Thus, the house is ideal for large families or a larger group of people due to the self-sufficient living areas and spacious possibilities for privacy and retreat.

With few exceptions, there are no cars on the entire island. Stress is a loanword to the locals. If you love the natural and carefree way of life, the charm of the island and the cozy Greek mentality will inspire you very quickly - the ideal opportunity to escape the hasty daily routine and to glory in relaxing! Swarms of backpackers or hopelessly overcrowded beaches are not an issue here.
Four excellent Greek restaurants (tavernas) in the village centre offer tasty traditional dishes and fresh fish. A cozy bar at the port invites for relaxation and a drink and is also the gathering place for the island’s youth as well as boatmen from all over the world. During the day, the refreshing Greek iced coffee (frappé) is highly advisable here! Moreover, one of the tavernas also functions as the island's mini-market in which virtually all daily errands can be made.
The natural and well-protected bay of Trizonia offers numerous possibilities for anchoring and the marina is designed for up to 150 yachts. Currently no mooring fees are charged. In addition to the beach in the village, there are several other beaches and small bays spread around the island which encourage for exploration. All offer an amazing swimming experience with pleasant temperatures and fantastic crystal clear water.
WHAT IS THERE IN THE CLOSER VICINITY?
Trizonia is connected to the mainland (town of Chania) via a water taxi boat, which casts off regularly. The duration of the transit is less than 5 minutes. Along the mainland shore, a number of additional traditional tavernas can be found in multiple cozy villages. Moreover, there are many interesting excursion possibilities in the area: Delphi and its world-famous oracle and Greece's third-largest city of Patras (European Capital of Culture in 2006) are about an hour away by car. The cozy resort of Galaxidi, as well as the city of Nafpaktos and its historical Venetian harbor ('Battle of Lepanto') are both located less than 30 minutes away by car from Trizonia. A visit to the renowned wineries Achaia Klaus and the Cooperative Winery of Nemea towards the ancient city of Corinth are also highly recommended.
But don't plan too much: You will soon come under the spell of the archaic Greek calm (kalma) and discover that you will only rarely want to leave the heavenly island of Trizonia. After all, God created Trizonia... then heaven!
