Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)

This very attractive, two-bedroom, two-bath, ground level condo has a very warm and comfortable feeling and has been completely remodeled in tasteful colors and textures. It is an end unit that provides privacy but it is also very close to the year-round hot tub & sauna and the summer pool. The unit is located in one of the few complexes in town that has grounds with open areas and landscape. The living room is furnished with a comfortable suede sofa and a leather side chair and gas river rock fireplace. The TV/DVD/CD are on a surround system. You will find Berber carpet, stone tile, with ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen features upgraded appliances, counter and stone tiled floor. There is Wi-Fi high speed internet! Use our VIAO compact computer in the unit. A good sized deck is located off the dining area and is on the edge of a courtyard. You'll find a BBQ and outdoor furniture for your outdoor entertaining or casual dining. A very nice setting for your quiet afternoons.

Sports and Recreation: Most people associate Sun Valley recreation with World Class skiing, but not every Sun Valley recreational activity requires a lift ticket. The surrounding area supplies visitors with an endless variety of spectacular scenery and sporting diversions. In Sun Valley, you're only limited by your imagination.

Cross-country ski the Harriman Trail, the staging area for the Boulder Mountain Tour, one of the nation's pre-eminent cross country ski races. Or strap on some snowshoes for a moonlit walk and dinner at one of Galena Lodge’s full moon dinner nights. Take the family on a heli-skiing adventure in the magnificent Sawtooth Mountain range. Or turn a few circles at the legendary Sun Valley Ice Rink, where you might rub shoulders with Olympic skaters. There are endless opportunities and locations to go hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, white water rafting or land your first 18' Rainbow Trout on the Big Wood River. The possibilities are endless.

We enjoy traveling and entertaining our friends. Here in Ketchum it's skiing, walks, riding bikes, barbecues and the mandatory glass of wine.

Why Roy McMahan chose Ketchum

We chose to buy in this spot because it was recomended by several friends who have lived in the area for years. Location is everything, and this is one of the very few condo complexes that actually have grounds. Lots of trees, grass and plants surround the entire area. It's very pleasant to sit and have meals on the deck in the warm months.

What makes this condo unique

Put your car away and enjoy this in-town location: on the bike/x-country path and about five minutes walking to the River Run lift/Lodge and into town. In summer we go biking or for walks on the twenty five miles of maintained paths in the Ketchum area. You can walk into the center of Ketchum for lunch, dinner or a movie. It's just so easy to get everywhere from here. We enjoy the deck and the park like surroundings here at Horizon 4. The condo is located right across from the pool and hot tub, very handy!

The River Run location provides great access to the ski lifts, bike trails, downtown restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Once you park your vehicle, if you chose, you will not need it again until it's time to leave. A free shuttle bus covers the Ketchum area just off the property. There are many miles of bike paths maintained (summer and winter) adjacent to the condo.

The bike path runs north for 10 miles and south for 16 miles along the Big Wood River with great scenery to take in as you ride or walk. It is groomed in the winter for Nordic Skiing and is also available to ski on to get to the lifts. All you need to bring for your vacation in Sun Valley is a change of clothes and to go grocery shopping when you get here.

This condo unit has it ALL! Location and Looks.

Great location for walking into town, and on the bus route with access to all the different Sun Valley ski lifts and lodges.

The unit is decorated tastefully with nice amenities.
The towels, linens and furnishings were of high quality and all very clean.

It was a pleasure dealing with Roy. He was very professional, courteous, attentive to all of our questions prior to us arriving.

We had friends who were staying at the Sun Valley Lodge during the same time frame (they rented a condo there) who were very jealous of this unit!

Relaxing Weekend

Greatly enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. Condo is very clean, well appointed and maintained. Exactly like photos. Love having extra pillow and blankets. Location is close to downtown Ketchum but quiet and away from traffic. We like to bike the trails, this property is convienent plus the deck wraps around so you can store them. My in-laws were with us and they appreciated the ground level.
Owner was quick to respond to all inquiries, easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Very nice place - well located

We stayed here in late July 2012 and had a great time. The location is ideally situated between downtown and the gondola and we could easily walk almost anywhere we wanted to go. The condo itself is nicely furnished and comfortable, and the patio is a really nice place to have dinner. The kids really enjoyed the pool too. Thanks!
