LOCATED IN HOUND EARS CLUB, MINUTES TO BOONE, BLOWING ROCK AND BANNER ELK! FANTASTIC LOCATION...THIS CABIN WAS OWNED AND LIVED IN BY GLEN CAUSEY WHO PLAYED DANIEL BOONE, THE ACTOR. WE BOUGHT THE HOUSE AND COMPLETELY REMODELED! EVERYTHING IS NEW AND CLEAN AND FRESH AND WE MAINTAINED THE TRUE CABIN FEELING. THE FLOORS ON MAIN FLOOR ARE WOOD, THE BATHROOMS ARE TILED AND THE UPSTAIRS BEDROOM IS PLUSH CARPET. THE KITCHEN IS STAINLESS APPLIANCES WITH GRANITE COUNTER TOPS. THERE IS A LARGE WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE TO ENJOY COZY EVENINGS; AND THE HOME IS IN WALKING DISTANCE TO CLUB. IT IS A SMALL COZY CABIN NESTLED IN A NATURAL WOODED SETTING WITH OVERSIZED BOULDERS THAT CHILDREN HAVE HOURS PLAYING AROUND AND IN NEARBY CREEK. WALK TO CLUBHOUSE (only noted walk to clubhouse location for people interested in buying the cabin or walking on the golf course after hours) AND LOTS OF AREAS IN WALKING DISTANCE TO HOUSE FOR FAMILIES TO ENJOY!

About Shanaaz Eisenberg

We moved to Hound Ears 19 years ago from South Florida. We live here full time, I am a REALTOR in the high country and owner of Elite Mountain Properties in down town Blowing Rock. My husband is a developer and he renovated this cabin. I love selling real estate, from the first meeting to the closing; I am thrilled by the 'design of the deal'. Selling mountain dreams is what I do! So if you are thinking about buying especially in Hound Ears, let me know. We love living in The High Country, it is peaceful, serene and the people are amazing. There is so much to enjoy that you cant do in a big city, and my favorite part of the scenery is the lush greenery that surrounds us in summer, along with temps that rarely exceed 80 degrees!

Great Getaway Home!!

What a neat home! Thank you for allowing us to come and stay. This chalet is just the right size for a small family or couples. The master downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs gave us some privacy from the boys. Thanks for allowing our girls (dogs) as well. The setting is so private yet full of places to adventure (waterfalls) for kids. From the wood burning fireplace, granite counter tops, leather sofa, it has just the right touches to make you feel at home. We hope to see you again soon!

We have stayed numerous times at this Chalet, and every time it is perfect! Clean, warm and cozy! The owners are more than accommodating! I highly recommend this for work or for pleasure! You can't go wrong with this beauty! Our daughters love it, ages 1 and 5.

Just what my bride and I needed. Quiet time to decompress and of course a trip to the outlet stores and Blowing Rock. House had everything we needed. Shanaaz and Dean were incredibly hospitable. Diane and I feel like we left having made friends in the mountains.

Beautiful Getaway,

This was an excellent place to get away from everyday distractions. The setting was awesome with the big boulders and trees surrrounding the property. The house was cozy and inviting, having all of the neccessities of home included. My mother, sister and myself had spend last year at the beach and had decided on the mountains this year, and we all believe that we made a wonderful choice in picking this property. Thank you Shanaaz for the personal touches throughtout the house and for your hospitality. I will definitly be referring this to my friends....Thanks again!
