5 BD 3 1/2 BA Sleeps 11. Separate apartment included downstairs.

This home features new stylish decor and a warm welcoming color palette, a well equipped kitchen with gas stove top, large bdrms and gathering spaces. Ideal for a family gatherings and entertaining. All of the beds, bedding and linens are new. Light, bright, and spacious rooms. There is lots of parking - approx 14 spaces total - incl. off- street.

The main level has a kitchen with table for 6, a cozy family room with 40' flat screen TV, gas fireplace, a deck that accommodates up to 20 people, a half bath, washer/dryer and formal living room and dining room that seats 8.

Upstairs there are 4 bdrms: Master suite with KING, private bath/soaking tub, and 32'flat screen, two bedrooms with Queens, one bedrm with two Twins and a spacious upstairs bath.

The downstairs is a lovely separate area with its own full kitchen, laundry Rm., full bath, 32' flat screen and accommodates 3 people with a Queen bed in the bedroom and a convertible bed in the living area.

Notes: This is a popular home for family gatherings and reunions and we welcome these events. If you plan to have an event with 15 or more people there will be an extra $100 charge and you must get permission from the owners prior to your rental period. In this first year of our rental 80% of our guests have been here for reunions/weddings with large groups - we even had someone get married on the deck! The other 20% have been tourists. Owners are Portland natives and live just minutes from this home and are happy to help you with any questions you have, just email us!

Perfect layout for young families sleeping upstairs and grandparents sleeping in the separate unit downstairs. The attached 2 car garage was nice even though it only rained 1 out of our 6 days in the Portland area. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. We were happy to have an Original House of Pancakes nearby!

The pictures didn't do justice to this fabulous home. Our family of 6 adults and 4 children were very comfortable here. The home was spotless and well stocked. The location is convenient to many sights and major routes. We loved returning each evening to relax on the wonderful deck. I can't imagine a more perfect fit for our needs.

Fantastic vacation home

This house was fantastic for our family. Very clean and spacious, with a great layout. One minor issue arose during our stay, and the owner is extremely responsive and quick to address and fix the problem. Our only suggestion would be provide a dish sponge for each renter, as well as a proper wine bottle opener! We arrived late in the evening with the assumption that both would be there as that is what we've experienced in every other vrbo we've stayed at. Over all a wonderful stay and would recommend to others.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Gross about the sponge - so sorry! We must have run out and the cleaning people did not tell us. Not sure what happened to the good wine opener that was there so I guess we need to get a new one. Thank you for telling us these things because otherwise we would never know!

Three generations got together for a long weekend and the house was perfect for our needs and wants. It is spacious, comfortable, clean,and well supplied. The furnished deck was a delightful place to enjoy the warm Portland weather. We would recommend using a GPS or mapping program to help find your way. We hope to return.
