Beautifully furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on the beach for rent in secluded gated 24/7-patrolled community 15 minutes south of Ensenada, Mexico. If you like nature, listening to the sound of the surf and seagulls instead of traffic noise, this place is for you!
Our house sits on one of the most beautiful and remote beaches in Baja, just off the road to La Bufadora Peninsula, known for its famous "Blowhole". To the west lies the island of Todos Santos, a few miles offshore. Just east of the house is Estero Lagoon, an ecological bird sanctuary. There is a beautiful 18 hole golf course 10 minutes away, and the site of Tiger Woods’ new Punta Brava course is located less than 5 miles away. In the hills behind Ensenada you might visit the local wineries and sample their latest vintages.
Or stay at home and step off the patio into the softest white sand your feet will ever feel. Swim in the gentle surf, look for sand dollars along the shore, head south down the beach to check out the hot springs on the beach, or north to explore the nature reserve. Complete your day watching the setting sun, with a drink with your loved one on the beach-level patio or the rooftop deck with its 360 degree view.
This is the perfect getaway spot for an inforgettable weekend for 2 or a week with the whole famly. You'll want to return again and again!

My family and I stayed in this great house from June 23 to June 26, 2014. The house was as described by the owner (Mary), the house was clean, well maintained, very close to La Boufadora, downtown Ensenada. In all honestly, it felt like home away from home. We are planning to do it again next year, but we will stay longer. Thank you Mary Taylor for your hospitality. Emad
We had a great time. The view and the location was perfect. They are working on the road to the La Bufadora, but in our opinion the house is worth the trouble of the construction going on! I hope to stay there again.
I took my family for a weekend getaway and to celebrate my sister's 21st birthday. I was extremeley skepticle about renting a house not knowing much about the location and renting from an owner vs a company. I spoke to Mary on Thursday and she immediately made me feel at ease, she described her home, view and surrounding areas so well that I could close my eyes and I could picture it. When we finally arrived to the home on Firday we were greated by the guards and directed us to the house. When I tell you that the house is amazing, it is TRUE! The house is well decorated with a Mexican theme, however has a nice touch of an American beach house. It is equiped with all kitchen houseware, appliances and even a water cooler. The living room and dinning room have ceiling to floor windows, which allows you to see the sunset, sunrise and beach. The barbecue area out on the patio is well kept and would highly recommend using it at night. We used it during the night and there was high winds, however because it is in a circular low area we could not feel the wind and it was very relaxing hearing the ocean waves. The location was private and had the beach to ourselves! Around the corner you can rent horses for $8.00-$10.00 a person for an hour ride on a beach, a great experience. At the end of our stay the security checked the house and our deposit was returned. It was the best home I have rented for a vacation and cant wait to book my next trip to Ensenada!
Thank you Mary for allowing us the opportunity!
Very nice place right on the almost empty sand. Spent a week at Christmas there and enjoyed it. Great beach to walk on, very few people around, wonderful patio and roof top deck. Photos are real, sunsets can be incredible - especially from the roof where you watch the clouds over the hills changing color and then watch the lights in Ensenada twinkle on. No real issues with the house at all. It is pretty remote so stop at Costco, Smart & Final or the Super Walmart on the way there and stock up on food and drink. For golfers the Baja Country Club is a fine place to play, reasonable and open to the public, and fairly close. The Marina has re-opened 4-5 nights a week and is the closest place to have a bite and drink and is very reasonable - but no heat so dress warmly if it's chilly. Would recommend the house to all. Biggest issue is getting back across the border - suggest trying Tecate or Otay Mesa after you research same so you don't spend 3 hours, 27 minutes like we did. Not related to the house at all of course, but a real pain in the behind.
We spent Memorial Day weekend at this lovely home and it exceeded our expectations. Well appointed in a gated community and located on an absolutely gorgeous beach! Highly recommend the property. If you are looking for a real escape that has all the amenities of home, this is for you!
