Well-Appointed Convenience

I rented this property for the BCS Championship Game in January 2011. Our group of six adults could not have been more pleased with the rental.
The location was perfect; we were closer to the U of Phoenix stadium than many of the parking lots, and could see the stadium from the master bedroom window. We could walk to the Entertainment Complex and BCS events at the Renaissance Hotel - very convenient. Lots of good food and bars in the entertainment complex! There was a movie theater too, and a huge Cabellas just north - but we did not have time to visit either one. For provisions there is a Target a couple of lights to the north, and a Walmart a couple of lights to the south.
The condo was well appointed, spotless, and still felt very new. We were surprised and delighted that the master bath had a large garden tub in addition to the shower stall, rather than the shower/tub combo listed. There were plenty of towels and bedding available, even enough to accommodate the ones who slept on the sofa at various times. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and found it to have everything we needed for meal prep and serving. Past tenants have left lots of non-perishables and we did too; future guests should check the pantry and fridge before hitting the store.
We only had one problem - the wireless internet was not working when we arrived. When I contacted the owner he responded promptly and soon the ISP called to give us directions on resetting the password. Appreciated the quick help, especially since the owner is not local.
The property description was mostly accurate but scant. Details: the third bedroom (on ground level) is a small tv room with a futon, and the half-bath is beside it. The second bath opens to the hall on 3rd floor. There is garage parking for one car plus other parking available. You get one gate pass for parking lot so you do need to coordinate if you have multiple cars. The unit has full-sized washer/dryer upstairs. The unit is on three levels, so there are lots of stairs - beware if you have toddlers or disabled. None of this was a problem for us, just info we wanted for planning and others might also. There are at least 3 televisions (living room and master BR as well as living room) - I never went in BR#2 so not sure about there. We enjoyed the outside grills.
In summary, our rental was a huge success. We were the envy of our friends on gameday, and we won! We would rent again in a heartbeat. Thanks!
