Your own private lakefront logcabin on a 970 acre ranch.

This cabin is nestled away! Initial view is breath taking. However, our stay was a bit disappointing overall. The place is in need of a little TLC...such as cookware which is not so worn, a kitchen table bench that is sturdy & not wobbling, beds that don't shift when you sit on them & light bulbs replaced in the lamps. Last but not least...we wanted to fish in the additional tanks other than the one the cabin over looks but no cleared access to allow this.

My husband and I enjoyed a very relaxing vacation at this rental. There is no TV so we got to read, fish, and go for walks. We enjoyed lighting the fire pit outside and sitting around talking and sipping wine. It was a nice change to be able to see all the stars in the sky. They have a VERY large music selection on their computer. I think they have over 31,000 songs. Great variety. I enjoyed dancing around the patio and porch area. (By myself - my husband won't dance - ha ha ) We got to hear and see turkeys and we even saw a few deer.

This is truly an amazing place. The cabin was the perfect place for us to get away and enjoy some time together as a family. The location cannot be beat. Our boys, 13 and 10, loved fishing from the pier just steps from the back door. The small lake surrounds the cabin on three sides and you could see it from almost everywhere in the cabin. We enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful view. We saw deer, including a doe and her two fawns who'd come to the pond for a drink. The outdoor spaces include a wrap-around deck and patio area with a fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed being in such a quiet, tranquil setting.

The cabin is very well equipped. We had absolutely everything we needed. It was obviously well cared for and the owners Ron and Ginger were very sweet people. We spent hours sitting around the large coffee table on the comfortable furniture playing games with our kids. The music system can be played inside and outside and it was an unexpected treat. We had fun playing lots of old songs that you don't really hear anymore.

We have rented several vrbo units in the past and this was definitely one of the best. We thought that the cabin looked much better in person than in the pictures. We are excited to have found such a gem and we fully expect to make trips often throughout the year.

Perhaps the best thing I can say is that our 10yr old son said 'I hope one day I can bring my kids here." To us, that really showed how special this place is.
