Chianti Paradise with Stunning Views

La Casina was a piece of Chianti paradise with the promised Tuscan views offering a perfect place to recharge your batteries. The house is very spacious, was short of nothing and a much appreciated welcome pack awaited our arrival. The three terraces offered a spot to follow the sun throughout the day and the huge VERY clean pool kept the children happy for hours every day.
We found La Casina spotlessly clean and were treated to fresh linen, towels and a clean midway through our fortnight holiday.
The in house information book was very useful as was the facility of a provided topped up mobile to contact the owners or manager, who were extremely welcoming.
A car is definitely necessary to make the most the Tuscan countryside and local hilltop towns and just a 20 minute drive takes you to the delightful Siena.The Co-op in Berardenga offered a good choice of fresh fruit and veg and groceries and we also ate out in Berardenga at a good Pizzeria and had a fab meal in San Gusme, both just five - ten minute drive.
This was a truly fabulous holiday. Thanks again to Peter and Lucia and to Barbara our welcoming Host.
