Four bedrooms, two on the first floor, two on the second floor and fully finished walk-out lower level. Lower level has marble floors. Washer/dryer and one car garage. Large, private backyard with brick patio. Minutes from Dowses Beach, close to Craigville Beach. Seasonal beach pass included in rental rates.

Privacy Abounds: This home is located on a private lane shared by only two other properties, and abuts acres of pine forest. The front porch overlooks the professionally maintained grounds and bordering fieldstone wall. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles including the attached garage. The home is located only minutes by car to the ocean (beach passes are included) and an even shorter drive to the heart of Osterville Village with all restaurants, shops and amenities. Osterville is only a 15-20 minute drive to Hyannis and all there and about a 15-20 minute drive to Mashpee Commons.

Go THIS WAY for an excellent rental!

The exterior photo of 16 This Way is so deceiving, I'm glad I looked further. What appears a modest cottage is in fact a surprisingly spacious, beautifully appointed home with all the rooms and amenities my extended family needed for a wonderful week on the Cape!

The house was spotlessly maintained and nicely decorated, and everything was in excellent working order. We found the kitchen well equipped and the house stocked with necessary staples, which was a pleasant change from the previous summer when we rented a house (for more money) that didn't even provide toilet paper. The bedrooms were quite comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend.

The kids enjoyed the privacy of the basement quarters, though we'd have to agree with another reviewer who suggested a bathroom would be a good addition on that level. The backyard was perfect for whiffle ball, and we appreciated the landscaped view from the front porch.

Pleasant and professional, Livia Montforte thoughtfully anticipated our needs, sending a comprehensive information packet before our stay and preparing the house as she would want to live in it (according to her). Who wouldn't want to live there, I can't imagine!

Our tans are already fading, but the wonderful memories will last.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the cape and this unit made it even more enjoyable. The kitchen was modern and well equipped which made the preparation of meals easy. The property was clean and, although we had a few minor problems (clogged shower head, question about laundry), they were addressed promptly and satisfactorily. We loved sitting on the front porch and there was a large backyard which would be ideal for children. In fact, there were quite a few amenities geared for children (crib, child sized bed, plastic dinnerware, toys). The 2 bedrooms and full bathroom on the first floor were perfect for the 2 grandmothers who were with us, and the upstairs bedrooms were very roomy. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that the upstairs shower is quite small and the bathroom could use some more lighting. We did use the "overflow" bedroom in the basement which was ok. It would be nice if there were a half bath downstairs, also. We were here during the off-season, but still enjoyed a walk on the beach and coffee in town. The house was ideally located for seeing all parts of the cape without having to drive too far. Our favorite places to visit were the Nauset Light Beach near Provincetown and the towns of Chatham and Plymouth in addition to taking a walk along the path to the town of Osterville.
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the lovely review. We have now asked the cleaning service to keep an eye on the showerhead when doing the weekly turnover. We do ask every guest to wash the used linens prior to departure to facilitate our next guests having a smooth arrival. The last loads can be left in the machines and the cleaning company will make sure all linens are done and put away. We agree the upstairs shower is on the "small" side and have contemplated a full bathroom renovation for next year...your suggestion is adding fuel to our fire :). We hope you are able to come and stay with us again in the future.

WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD ON OUR VACATION IN THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME. IT IS SO SPACIOUS AND HAS ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME, YET YOUR ON VACATION!
THE KITCHEN HAD EVERTHING NEEDED TO MAKE OUR MEALS ( OR YOU CAN GO TO ONE OF THE MANY DINING AREAS NEARBY!)
WE ENJOYED THE LOVELY VIEW FROM THE KITCHEN WINDOW OF THE LARGE AND PRIVATE WOODED AREA IN BACK.
WE WERE COZY AND WARM WITH THE WOOD STOVE THATS AVAILABLE AND REALLY ENJOYED IT.
THE BEDROOMS ARE LARGE AND SPOTLESS AND SOOO COMFORTABLE, AND WE SLEPT GREAT~
THE SHOPPING AT ALL THE CHRISTMAS TREE SHOPS AND THE LOCAL STORES WAS SO MUCH FUN.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND ROOMY HOME TO RENT TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION!

Feels like a five star hotel!

Our stay at your beautiful Cape Cod Home felt like we were in an exclusive hotel. Everything was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The home is very spacious too. There was room for everyone. We loved how close it is to everything, including beautiful sandy beaches.

We were heading to the Cape for a family reunion and were thrilled to find such a gorgeous stay in the Village of Osterville! We were right at home and had everything we needed. The home is deceptively large and feels so luxurious: the bedrooms, the two kitchens, the bathrooms, the open floor plan, the front porch with rockers, the kitchen with the soapstone countertops, all the amenities...it was perfect! We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our stay and didn't want to leave. We are definitely planning a return visit in the summer...can't wait to take advantage of the beaches! Thanks too for the restaurant tips...we couldn't have had a better stay!!!
