Located on beautiful Star Lake, this unique north woods home is just what a family needs to have the perfect vacation. Ultimate furnishings, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, huge screen porch with 10 foot camp table and living area over looking the lake. Camp Edna is truly the 'Star' of Star Lake rentals. Nothing finer or more private. It is the property for the most discerning guest! Luxury with the ultimate North Woods feel!

WiFi is available for our guests. DVD/CD player, Direct TV included!

Privacy on 2.5 acres, 250 foot lake frontage. Luxury pontoon boat available for rent to really enjoy the lake. Star Lake is 92% state owned, so the lake is practically private. A raft is available right off of the shore. Row boat and canoe are included.

Fire pit with wood provided for the perfect evening campfire.

We also have a two bedroom vintage cabin, Bear Cottage at Camp Edna, available to rent along with Camp Edna for larger groups!

What a beautiful,gorgeous, attractive cabin. Highly recommend for a romantic weekend getaway. Can't wait to return for our next visit. On a scale of 1 to 10 this cabin and location are a 15!

Magical Vacation

If you plan to escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this is the place! It is in the woods and secluded! Our group of 8 people spent a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin! From the moment we stepped in, all of us fell in love with Camp Edna! Every detail is thought through which makes this house a special place to be. The cabin can accommodate 8 people easily. The kitchen is fully-equipped with quality dishes and appliances. Each room is adorned beautifully, and the beds are really comfortable! We were impressed with the porch - you step in and find yourself in a winter wonderland because you are surrounded by the trees and snow, but it is warm and cozy because you are inside. Camp Edna offers a private deck which is great for fishing in the summer. Mark, the owner, is a wonderful person - helpful and easygoing, and his motto is "Relax and enjoy your stay." We had a magical vacation and plan to visit Camp Edna in the summer to sit on the porch and contemplate the nature around. Thank you, Mark, for letting us stay at your amazing house.

My family and friends spent a week in this magical place. The cottage is exceptionally beautiful, it offers state of the art amenitie and the most comfortable, great quality bedding.
The screened porch, in addition to the living room one, has a fire place that keeps you warm in the evening while enjoying the breathtaking view of the Star Lake.
This place is quiet and private and offers the best of worlds- modern touch with the privacy and beauty of the wilderness.Also, the owners allow pets on the screened porch which is great! I would definitelly book Camp Edna for Summer vacation again!
One disadvantage (that would probably be essential to families with kids) is that there is no direct access to the beech for swimming. Other than that, Camp Edna is one of the best wilderness destinations we have been to.

Camp Edna is very special North Woods property on a pristine lake!
I do agree with you about the lack of beach in front of the property, but Star Lake has many sandbars that can be accessed by the pontoon boat that we rent out with the house or other boats. The lake is 92% state owned so it is practically private. It is so much fun to anchor on one of these sandbars and enjoy the crystal clear waters! Our guests find this something very special and not found on many lakes in the North Woods!
I am so happy to hear you had such a great time and experience at Camp Edna and I look forward to having you and your friends back in the very near future! If you have any photos to share, I would very much appreciate having a copy of them to share with others!

The very best there is in the North Woods! A total wow!

A complete wow! The minute we walked in we were in awe!
Every last detail in decorating, comfort and location. Total privacy on a gorgeous piece of property.
The furnishings were fantastic. The bedrooms were spacious and beds to die for.
The screen porch is unbelievable. Lake views were incredible with the sunrise and steam rising over the lake. My morning coffee never tasted so good. The camp table in the porch was the perfect place for our family to dine. The kitchen had everything the most discerning cook could ever want. The fire pit was large and wood was provided. Perfect for the cool evenings we had. We brought our own boat and the dock was huge. The seating area was perfect .We fed the ducks every morning.
I would recommend this property to anyone that wants to experience a north woods dream! Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven. We are honored to be your guests and look forward to many more years of returning to Camp Edna! Job well done!
