Silverlake contains some of the most famous modernist architecture in North America. We love its central location and its proximity to most LA attractions. It's an artistic neighborhood (voted trendiest neighborhood in LA by WSJ for 2012 and best LA neighborhood in 2013 by CNNmoney) but safe and family-friendly neighborhood. This is a rare house that has both an LA downtown skyline view, is single story and has a large flat backyard.
