Great House, Amazing Location -- Right on the Beach!

We loved our stay at this wonderful family vacation house in July 2011. It was perfect for us (3 young kids). We were able to sit on the deck and watch our oldest play on the beach while helping our younger two get ready. Everybody was happy and could move at their own pace. The great location made it extremely convenient for coming and going between the house and the beach for potty breaks, snacks, naps, etc. The beach is gorgeous, and it's just a few steps down from the deck! There is a deck level/landing right below the main deck of the living unit, with an outdoor shower and a great place to store beach chairs & toys, etc. It's well stocked with items that have been left behind by others or that belong to the owners. We loved having an outdoor grill with a beautiful beach front view. The area around this house is devoid of high rise hotels or condos, and there is no public parking near the public beach access. So the beach here is very pleasantly uncrowded. For a change of pace, Eastern Lake is just a short walk down the beach, and it's a great place to play in very shallow fresh water. The owners were wonderful to work with and even called on our first full day to make sure we had everything we needed. The property is currently managed by the owners' adult daughter, who played on this beach and in this house when she was a little girl. (We thought that was neat.) Everything about the listing was accurate. It's a very clean, well-maintained family beach house with spectacular views of the Gulf Coast. We will definitely consider staying here again, and I would recommend it to anyone, with no reservations.
