We are the Towarnicky family, and the proud owners of 'Sea Forever,' our oceanside beach house at Corolla in the Outer Banks, NC. Jim is an attorney who specializes in real estate. We do not use an impersonal rental management company. We can be flexible to meet your needs. To protect against scammers, always contact Jim to verify your week is available and do not send money to anyone by wire transfer. Our family welcomes your family and friends to share our home, where you can Sea Forever!
Jim purchased this house in 2010
Why Jim chose Corolla
Our family vacationed several times over the years at the Outer Banks, and loved the clean, white sandy beaches. Other beach areas in other states that we tried were too crowded and dirty, and the houses too small. When we decided to finally purchase a vacation home, we knew we would come back to this fabulous resort area. It has everything you could want in a vacation spot: historic sightseeing with Wright Brothers First Flight, boutique shops, the Lost Colony outdoor drama, Currituck Lighhouse, Historic Corolla, and the nature preserve section with wild horses. There are all sorts of aquatic sports, and of course, the ocean and beach. Corolla is family-oriented and quiet, if that is what you wish, but connected to a string of towns along the coast (Duck, Southern Shores, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, Manteo) with varying activities and nightlife for all ages. It really provides the best of all worlds!
What makes this house unique
We chose this house because it has a combination of conveniences and luxuries that make your vacation the best! The chef in your family will love the spacious, well-stocked octagonal 2-story kitchen with dramatic black granite counters, solid maple cabinetry, dual ovens, dual dishwashers, 2010 refrigerator freezer, and great views. Enjoy family dinners on our 12-seat dining table and 4-seat breakfast bar. Our elevator and handicapped-accessible bedrooms and bathroom ensure that all family members can share your vacation. There is never a dull moment when you can splash in the pool or hot tub with friends, play pool or throw darts in our sensational recreation room, try out our Wii and PlayStation 3 video games in the theater room, or watch movies with our extensive DVD and video collection (in addition to cable TV). Escape to the bright cheerful den to read a book, or watch TV and movies. The house is spacious enough that your family and friends can share the experience, but be separated and not on top of each other all the time. But the best amenity is simply the location, where you can stroll down the street only 600 feet to the beach entrance, or sip a favorite drink on the decks, watching the waves in a panoramic view so soothing that you'll wish you didn't have to leave. We STILL feel that way ourselves every time we come down.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Jim--Just a follow-up on our June 14-21 stay at your lovely beach house. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything in the house was exactly as presented. The house was wonderfully equipped--dishes, small appliances, large appliances, linens etc. Even more impressive was the variety of beach accessories: towels, umbrellas, pool toys, recreational activities, bikes. You thought about almost everything we would need or want. Furnishing were great, and although we didn't use the books, dvds etc it was nice to have them available in case of bad weather. In fact, I don't think we used more than a couple of the TVs--but there were plenty. Luckily we had great weather, other than a nasty, windy storm--but that was in the evening on Thurs.
(The storm blew around the furniture on the decks, knocked over the poolside umbrellas, etc.) My only negative comment was that the ice makers couldn't keep up with our use, so we were buying bagged ice. But that was minor. Thanks you for a wonderful family vacation. Mary Ann and family
