CONCH COTTAGES @ COCO BAY, OVERLOOKS THE OCEAN REEF !

We recently returned from our stay at Coco Bay cottages and are already planning our trip back! Nicole and Larry Fleming made the vacation seamless…..coordinating transportation to and from the airport, providing us with golf carts to travel around the island, suggesting “must see” beaches/sites, the perfect restaurant suggestions as well as local island events to attend. The Coco Bay cottages are located in the perfect spot. Just steps away from both the ocean AND the bay! Our biggest decision during the week was to decide whether or not to swim in the warm, calm aqua blue waters of the bay or to swim in the warm, gentle waves of the ocean. We snorkeled every day on some of the most beautiful coral reefs I have ever seen. We have snorkeled in Nasseau, Bahamas, Aruba, La Paz, Mexico and Hawaii. My husband and I both agree that the Coco Bay cottage beach is the most fantastic spot to see tropical fish, sea turtles, lobsters, and vibrant corals. We loved the privacy the cottages offered as well as the close proximity to everything the island has to offer. We are in the process of planning our return trip next year…… with the kids!!! It’s the perfect family get away or couples retreat. Thank you so much to Larry and Nicole for a wonderful vacation. WE WILL BE BACK!

This was our first visit to Cocobay and we had absolutely the best vacation. The location was perfect. The kids (all college students) could swim to the reef just steps from the door and I could fish just steps to the boat at the pier. There were 6 of us in one of the Conch Cottages and we had plenty of room. The facilities were clean, comfortable and well maintained. One of the best things was the service that Nicole and Larry provided. They seemed to be one step ahead of everything we needed to know. We rented a couple of carts for traveling around the island and that was a big plus too. We will definitely return to Green Turtle and stay at Cocobay! Bill and Karen (05/21/11).

My husband and I planned a 40th birthday trip along with another couple. Upon arrival, the owners, Nicole and Larry Fleming, arranged to have the water taxi drop us off at her dock. Originally, the water taxi is supposed to drop you off at another location. This was no extra charge.

On the island, guests use golf carts for transportation. On arrival, Nicole had ours waiting for us.

Additionally, the property is on the bay and ocean. Our cottage overlooked the bay and we were steps away from the ocean. On the ocean side, we were privy to some of the best snorkeling in the world (I've done extensive travel around the world for this purpose).

The cottages are on the end of the island and it's like a private compound and/or beach. Literally, we had the beach and bay to ourselves.

If we saw other guests, the cottages are situated so there is plenty of privacy. During the day, one can snorkel, dive, site see around the island, or visit nearby islands.

The inhabitants of the island are very welcoming and friendly. In the evening, we attended social events are we were "part of the community." We made many friends and we plan to keep in touch.

If we forgot any items (beach towels), Nicole let us borrow them at no additional cost.

We also were invited over to the Nicole and Larry's home for a lovely cocktail/appetizer featuring fresh seafood dip. With 26 years as proprietors, Larry and Nicole Fleming had a wealth of information. They were very helpful and provided information to really make our endeavors smooth.

We definitely will come back!
